A NEW DIRECTION AND A NEW VENUE

The Karen Dornellie Studio is the centre of bridal excellence on the Isle of Wight.

With an extensive experience, great reputation and proven track record in the bridal industry, I will be on hand to help brides have a smooth journey to perfect wedding day.
I can advise you on shape and styling and make your dream dress on the premises.
With my design background and sewing experience including as a costume maker for film and theatre you know you will be in good hands.
A personal and unique service adapted to each and every bride.
With close working relationships with other island wedding suppliers I can also help suggest the most reputable companies to assist you if I am unable to.

For example can help with steaming your dress if you are travelling to the island for your big day, dressing on the day and a service to collect and clean your gown to ensure you can preserve it forever.

I am available for alterations but this is dependant on my bespoke and couture work so please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
I may be able to suggest one of the islands seamstresses to help you if I am not free.

I have my own design collection to view with a new system allowing all sizes to be able to try a sample. Each design however can be ordered in a choice of fabrics, finishes and embellishments dependant on your style, ideas and budget.

I also have a new concept for those who wish to make their own dress or know a great dressmaker who can. With patterns printed to your personal size plus access to thousands of fabric sample, you can truly create a unique design for yourself with no need for compromise.

Alternatively, if you need help and are a bit unsure or nervous of dress shopping, lets have a chat to discuss how I can make this important part of your big day as easy and stress free as possible.
