My price for wedding day coordination for an average size wedding starts from £750. That's not for full wedding planning; that's for coordinating the day.
Now...there may be some wriggle room on that minimum price based on the size of the wedding and the tasks that need to be managed. However, on many occasions the minimum price can be higher;
I often get enquiries for wedding day coordination pre fixed with 'Eveything is done. I just need someone to oversee it on the day' Based on this perception expectations of my fee is under £300.
Now I get it. Weddings are expensive affairs and the thought of adding and extra nigh on £800 so someone can check 'everything goes smoothly' may seem a bit extreme. But here's the thing.....
💗All your suppliers need to managed on the day. The more suppliers you have, the more deliveries and management is needed.
💗All your personal items and requirements need to be delivered, managed & laid out - place settings, personal gifts, table plans / names, favours etc
💗Every activity that takes place will affect another activity, so pre empting that, is crucial when coordinating a day.
💗If you have more than one form of entertainment, arrival and set up needs to be managed within an inch of it's life.
The above is just a snippet of what I do.
For wedding day coordination, I start working with a couple at least 3 months before the day to start information gathering and connecting with all their suppliers. I'm asking questions from these suppliers about their requirements, arrival time, parking needs and getting clear on what they have been contracted to do. Even more importantly, I'm documenting it all the ensure that every detail actually happens on the day itself.
I am absolutely passionate about the fact that once the day arrives, my couple gets to switch off completely from the planning and enjoy every minute of their day.
So no. My fee won't be less than £300 Because my wedding day coordination services are not just confined to a few hours on the day.
