I've photographed corporate events, awards ceremonies, supercars and tall ships.

This month I made the front cover of Voice magazine thanks to an alpaca in the Brecon Beacons who had absolutely zero interest in following any kind of direction whatsoever.

She did, however, have a lot of opinions. And apparently excellent instincts for a good shot.

Alpaca My Boots, a trek through Bannau Brycheiniog National Park with 50+ alpacas who are significantly more confident in front of a camera than most humans I've worked with.
10/10 would recommend.

Pages 6, 14 and 15 inside too, if one cover wasn't enough. 😉

At the start of May, I had no idea just how much would happen in one month.

Photography assignments, networking events, new connections, old friends, unexpected opportunities, a trip back to Poland, and plenty of moments that reminded me why I love what I do.

Some months quietly tick by. Others seem determined to prove that saying "yes" to opportunities, showing up, and keeping an open mind can lead to amazing things.

Looking back, May was definitely one of those months.

I've shared some of the highlights, lessons learned, and a few stories from behind the camera in my latest blog:

📖 May Was The Month That Proved Everything Is Possible

I'd love to know what was the highlight of your month?

There is a particular kind of madness that comes with being a working photographer in the middle of a busy season. It is the madness of setting two alarms for 2:45am, driving three hours to an airp…

Kingsway Market opened in Newport last night and I was there with my camera. 📸

Welcome drinks ✅
Goodie bags ✅
Coffee cart outside ✅
Bull ride ✅
Tractor for photos ✅
Live music and actual dancing ✅
Every single market stall filled with vendors ❌

Listen, Rome wasn't built in a day and neither is a market. But the vibe? The vibe was absolutely there from minute one.

Some openings feel forced. This one felt like a neighbourhood deciding to show up for itself.

Also someone fell off the bull and laughed harder than anyone. That is the spirit we need. 🤠

Tuesday. Midday.
Me and Piotr currently surviving on caffeine, determination, and whatever strength is left in our lower backs ☕📸😂
We’re in the middle of a HUGE corporate portrait project today: 185 people, 3 portraits each, across two very long days.

That’s a lot of smiling.

A lot of “just turn your shoulder slightly.”

And approximately 437 times saying:
“Perfect… now chin slightly down.” 😅

Behind every polished corporate headshot is organised chaos: ✔ lights everywhere
✔ cables trying to kill you
✔ memory cards multiplying like rabbits
✔ photographers pretending they are absolutely not exhausted

But honestly? I love days like this.

There’s something incredibly satisfying about building a smooth workflow, keeping the energy positive, and making people feel comfortable in front of the camera, especially the ones starting with: “I hate having my photo taken.”
(Usually followed 3 minutes later by:
“Oh actually… I quite like these.”)

A few leftover portraits tomorrow, then editing mode officially begins.

Big shoutout to Piotr for absolutely smashing it today 👏

Sometimes the best journeys are not the easiest ones… they’re the ones your heart simply refuses to miss. ❤️
Yesterday my alarm went off at 2:30am. A three-hour drive to the airport, a two-hour flight, and one very excited heart later… I landed in Poland.
My bestie Ola picked me up straight from the airport, we collected Kamila on the way, and the three of us headed to our beautiful lakeside spot in Grabówek.
Last night was ours… just three old friends, endless conversations, laughter, memories, and that wonderful feeling when time somehow disappears and yet nothing has changed.
And today? The rest of the gang arrives.
Around 25 of us… meeting again 30 years after our high school exams.
Thirty years. Just writing that makes me smile… and also wonder how on earth we all got here so quickly.
Some things, though, never change, friendship, shared stories, inside jokes… and the ability to talk as if we only saw each other last week.
Was waking up in the middle of the night, driving for hours, flying across Europe, and completely messing up my sleep worth it?
Absolutely.
Every. Single. Minute.
And yes… the camera came with me, obviously. 📷❤️

I came “just to have a look”… obviously I brought my camera 😄📸

Prosecco. Pizza. Cricket bats. Tournament finals.
Last night at and honestly, what a venue. 🏏🍕

People playing, laughing, competing, celebrating.
The winner got beer. The losers got more pizza. Everyone won really.
I had the best Wednesday evening in a while.

There’s something slightly dangerous about seeing your work in print…

It starts with “I’ll just have a quick look…”
…and five minutes later you’re standing there like a proud parent, flicking through pages and pretending not to smile too much 😏

I’m chuffed to have multiple stories and businesses featured through my lens once again.

From food that makes you instantly hungry…
to beautiful interiors…
to brilliant local people building amazing businesses across …

This is why I do what I do.

Different places. Different faces. Different stories.
Same mission… making brands, businesses, and people look like the best version of themselves.

And yes… seeing your photos across multiple pages still gives me that little “not bad, Malgo… not bad at all” moment 😊

People think event photography starts when someone grabs a microphone…

Nope. It usually starts with strong coffee,or matcha in my example, suspiciously clean 'golf' shoes, a few “I definitely play every week” faces… and me quietly spotting the stories before anyone realises they’re happening. 😏⛳📷

Handshakes. Banter. First tee nerves.

The real magic always happens before the official start.

Today: Nottingham. Let’s see who ends up in the bunker first… not naming names. 😉
