🎄 A Cherished Cicor Newport Tradition Lives On 🎄

Yesterday, our Annual Christmas Lunch made its jolly return, a tradition we’ve loved (and happily eaten our way through) for over 40 years! 🌟

It’s one of the most special days of the year, where our leadership team rolls up their sleeves and serves lunch to our employees as a small gesture of appreciation for everything they do 🙏🏻

A big thank you to Davies catering for helping us put together another fantastic meal, your support makes this event shine year after year 🎄

The afternoon was filled with delicious food, fun games, and true Christmas spirit, bringing colleagues together to celebrate the season and the successes we’ve shared throughout 2025 🎁

It’s always a highlight to see everyone come together and celebrate the season as a team.

Celebrating Italy at Cicor Group Newport

As part of our ongoing celebration of the diverse roots that make up our community, today we’re delighted to honour another wonderful country – Italy

This week, we turned our attention to Italy—a country renowned for its rich culture, history, and of course, its world-famous cuisine. To mark the occasion, colleagues enjoyed a serving of the classic Tiramisu—layers of espresso-soaked sponge and mascarpone cream, topped with cocoa, delivering the perfect blend of indulgence and tradition.🍰 (a big thank you to Davies catering)

🌍 Celebrating Culture Through Flavour at Cicor Newport.

At Cicor Newport, we believe that our diversity is one of our greatest strengths. To honour the many cultural backgrounds represented within our team, we recently invited colleagues to share meals, treats, and traditions that reflect their heritage. The response was nothing short of inspiring—from cherished family recipes and festive dishes to meaningful customs and rituals.✨

We're excited to announce a special Cultural Celebration in our onsite canteen (big thanks to Davies catering!). Over the coming weeks, we’ll be shining a spotlight on a different country featuring traditional meals and treats inspired by our team’s contributions. It’s a flavourful journey that not only brings a taste of home to many, but also encourages new conversations and connections across departments.

We’re kicking things off with Portugal, home of the beloved pastel de nata—a flaky, golden pastry filled with rich egg custard and finished with a caramelised top. Whether it’s your first bite or a nostalgic favourite, it’s the perfect way to begin our culinary celebration. 😋
