Really disappointed to see this damage to the park this morning, I wonder if those that did the damage will be brave enough to own up and help us fix it?

I doubt it, but would welcome any information on who did this.

Forgan Arts Centre are offering free membership, they need more members to help them achieve their community transfer of the Leng Home premises.

See the information below:

HELP Forgan Arts Centre TO RECRUIT NEW LOCAL MEMBERS

As a member of Forgan Arts Centre who lives in the Tay Bridgehead area*, we are asking for your help to recruit additional members who live locally. Local members must make up >51% of our membership and Committee.

Forgan NEEDS to have a majority of local residents as members in order to

Apply to the Scottish Land Fund for the funds to purchase the Leng Home
Show continued support from the local community for Forgan Arts Centre when applying to other funders
Ensure local needs are reflected in the development and delivery of the Centre’s activities

In March 2020 we changed our constitution to introduce a new membership/subscription model. This means Membership is now FREE and the type of membership is determined by where members live. (See the table below)

Importantly class discounts continue via a Subscription fee.

We now need to recruit 35 new local members who would like to see Forgan continue as a valued community resource.

How to help
We are asking YOU as a local member to speak to your family, neighbours and friends living in the Taybridgehead area to become members of Forgan Arts Centre and help us on the road towards buying Leng Home.

What do they have to do ?
Simply email [email protected] with their full name, full address including postcode and contact details, requesting to become a member .

In return all members will be invited to our next AGM , and they can volunteer to join our Management Committee .

Lastly .....
Even though we remain closed, this is an exciting time for Forgan as we continue to work towards buying the Leng Home to expand our classes and activities.
The Management Committee would also welcome new local members to join us on the committee. If you are keen to see us develop and can offer organisational experience, or perhaps have a finance or marketing background to help us with our plans to benefit our local community, please consider joining us.

Thank you for your continued support.

I hope everyone has been enjoying the recent dry spell and getting a good skate up at the park. We've had messages regarding some of the teenage denizens of the park taking things a bit far with use of performance degrading substances and general attitude.

If this continues we will have to involve the authorities to intervene.

Respect the park.

Respect the residents.

Respect each other.

Who would all be keen to help this event happen? I'm thinking nighttime skate with fireworks and bonfire would make for some amazing photos!

Get your best suit / kilt / giant chicken costume looked out for our Fancy Dress Fun Day on the 20th of August from 13:00.

Prizes (including cake) for best costume and best trick.

Bring BBQs (just keep them off the grass!)

We're going to be keeping this low key so no entry lists, no PA, just good fun.

Anyone lost a board?

Anyone lost a board?

Anyone recognise this board? Left out side my house on Friday night. Brought it inside out of the rain.
