When a family asked if we could adapt the dessert options on one of our menus, the answer was of course yes.

Our menus are always designed as a guide and a starting point for conversation - because every gathering, every family, and every farewell is different.

The family already had celebration cakes being lovingly made, so rather than adding more traditional desserts, we created a beautiful table of smaller sweet treats to perfectly complement what was already being served.

Our dessert table included:

• Lemon Possets
• Eton Mess with Mini Meringue Kisses
• Churros with Chocolate & Caramel Dipping Sauces
• Assorted Sweet Palmiers
• Macarons
• Freshly Baked Open Scones with Clotted Cream & Homemade Jam

A lighter, more relaxed selection that gave guests plenty of choice while adding something special to the afternoon.

We’re always happy to tailor our catering to suit personal preferences, family traditions, dietary requirements, or existing arrangements - helping create a menu that feels thoughtful, comforting, and completely personal to your loved one’s gathering.

Yesterday we had the honour of catering for the wake of a much loved and highly respected gentleman from Cheltenham.

With warm weather and many guests gathering together, it was important to keep everyone cool, comfortable, and hydrated. Several drink stations were arranged both in the grounds and inside the hall, so refreshments were easily available as the congregation came out of the church.

Kilner jars filled with fresh iced water, sparkling cordials, and still drinks, alongside a selection of teas and coffees, meant there was something for everyone - helping guests stay refreshed and comfortable throughout the warm afternoon 💛

All set and ready to welcome family and friends following the church service for a truly loved lady.

Yesterday it was our privilege to care not only for Marilyn’s immediate family, but for everyone who gathered to celebrate her life. Our aim was to create a warm, comforting space where stories could be shared, memories cherished, and love felt all around.

We prepared a spread of freshly made sandwiches, wraps, warm savouries and homemade cakes, alongside a selection of teas, coffees and drinks, offering something for everyone as they came together to remember Marilyn.

We hope we did Marilyn and her family proud 🩶
