Sometimes, the most meaningful moments are the quietest ones - gathering together at home to share memories, stories and comfort after the loss of someone dear 🩶

For intimate family gatherings following a funeral or service, our drop-off catering service can take away some of the practical worries.

We’ll deliver everything to your home, set it all up and leave it ready for you. When you return from the service, everything will be prepared - simply take the covers off and spend time together.

We’ll also provide the china, cutlery and glassware, and collect it afterwards, so there’s no washing up and no extra organising for you.

This dessert board was created for a special family wake, featuring Gran’s beloved coffee cake topped with walnut pieces, alongside delicate mini lemon meringue tartlets.

Food can carry so many memories, and we were honoured to help bring a little taste of her specialities to the gathering, celebrating her life through some of the treats she loved.

“We used The Funeral Guys Catering for the reception following my beloved wife’s funeral. They were absolutely brilliant - responsive, sensitive, hard-working, uncomplicated, competent and completely trustworthy.

The food was exceptional - many guests commented on that, also they created a really good atmosphere.

When planning a wake or celebration of life, consider a thoughtfully prepared cold buffet instead of a traditional sandwich selection.

Our freshly made tarts and quiches, served with crisp seasonal salads, create a comforting and elegant menu for family and friends to share together. Prepared with care, many of the fruit and vegetables we use are picked fresh from our own organic garden, bringing the very best of the season to every plate.

A beautiful farewell deserves food that’s just as thoughtfully prepared. If you’re looking for an alternative to the usual buffet, we’d be honoured to help create a menu that reflects the occasion with warmth, care, and quality.
