We fondly remember Vera on this her first anniversary, a cherished wife, mum, granny and friend, may her gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

We as her family would like to express our gratitude to everyone who supported us in our recent walk in Vera's memory for NI Hospice. Thanks to your incredible generosity and support we raised £11,302. The NI Hospice was a lifeline for our family, and your kindness not only honoured Vera's memory but ensures the NI Hospice can continue their vital work giving care and compassion when families need it most.

Vera's memory will live on forever in the thoughts and prayers of our family that loved her dearly, till we meet again xx

On 16th Aug 2025, the family and I are taking on the One Big Walk...a 12-hour challenge at Stormont Estate to raise vital funds for NI Hospice.

During Veras final months the care and support we received from the NI Hospice was outstanding and we'd like to give something back as a thank you in the hope other families in similar situations can benefit. The NI Hospice held a special place in Veras heart, any donations would be greatly appreciated.

This Christmas season, we remember our beloved Vera with love and gratitude. Her vision, passion, and dedication shaped Cunningham's flowers, and her spirit will forever be a part of everything we do. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our loyal customers for their continued support and comforting words.

Thanks to all our loyal customers for your support and understanding over this past week, it's been greatly appreciated.

Vera along with Paddy opened Cunningham's in June 2000 on main street Dundrum as a plant and gift shop where Vera enjoyed meeting old and new customers alike. Little did they know what it would grow into, serving the community through hundreds of special events over the past 20+ years becoming a mainstay. Vera thrived on helping people far and wide. In recent years the business was then relocated to her home as she was unable to continue with the day to day running of the business. She still maintained an active interest in the shop and garden centre, enjoying the craic in the yard with folks. She will be sadly missed by all but her legacy will continue.

The shop will reopen on Monday 23rd September.
