Last week we said "Goodbye" to Dom and Stacey as they hung up their pom poms to dance off into the horizon of life. We will definitely miss them - it's not as if they have moved to another country - but it's not really goodbye - is it?! They have left the Academy in the very safe hands of Katelyn who you already know and love - and they will be casting an eye over things now and again.

So we are very happy to welcome Katelyn tonight at the centre for her first session as the boss!! And I am sure that she will receive a very warm welcome from all of the dance students. So, fingers crossed but Katelyn doesn't need luck - she has talent - lots of it - and that is what will see her through. Way to go.

Just a quick reminder of the new times - start at 4.30 pm and prompt finish at 6.30 pm. And please be aware that there is no vehicular access to the centre - the road has been dug up so please give extra thought when dropping off and picking up.

🚨🚨🚦Newcastle City Council will be conducting roadworks outside of the centre for approximately 4 weeks. This involves road closures and 4 way traffic lights. Parking and access will be very limited. Please contact your group/session leader directly with enquiries about how you will beable to access the centre safely. We will remain open as usual and keep you updated when we know! 🚦🚨🚨

M**s of small children!

Are you looking for an activity for your little girl/boy to start for once a week? Children aged 3 or 4 can come to Smith's Dance Academy on Tuesdays, at 4.00 pm for 30 minutes fun dancing at Baby Movement. It's term time only but best of all - it's free!! Children can get an idea if they are going to like it - or not - and parents can stay for the class. It is often the start of something better and bigger, as well as being great exercise.

So if you're interested, please come along tomorrow evening just before 4 pm and enjoy your session. Dom will be very pleased to see you and your child.
