We are very sorry but we are currently, Thursday 23rd July, 11.26am, having an issue with out alarm system. We are speaking with Newcastle City Council and hope to have it fixed ASAP.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, this week's scheduled Councillors Surgery at the Ray Gray on Wednesday, 21st January, 2026 will not now being going ahead. If you need to speak to your Councillor you can telephone him/her. The numbers are available on the Council website.

Surgeries will be suspended until further notice so please keep an eye on our page for any further information which may become available.

We hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas break and wish you all the best for 2026.

We have had a cracking start to 2026 with the arrival of FoodCycle at the centre. They are a national charity which provides surplus food from donations by way of a 3 course hot meal to anyone who needs it -and it is completely free! The volunteers are lovely and so helpful and will be happy to see you.

So come along on Wednesday - you don't need to book. The meal is served at 1.00 pm and guests can arrive from 12.45 pm. You will be fed and watered and hopefully enjoy some lively (or not) conversation with other diners. A nice, clean, warm and friendly environment awaits - so eating your lunch is really enjoyable.
