Our initial consultation call with Steven honestly felt like talking to a friend. Chatting with Steven for the first couple of minutes put me and my husband's mind at ease as we knew we'd get along well with him. I believe its so important to resonate and get along with who you have on your wedding day, which is exactly what Steven brought to the table.

Every consultation call, every stylised detail was so special and really suited us as a couple. I was also reassured to see that Steven invested into good gear for his work that went beyond a fancy camera. He had different types of mics for capturing sound, a drone for aerial shots, etc. This really put my mind at ease to know that he knew what he was doing, and that he'd do a great job. We had a string quartet walk play a custom piece for my walk down the aisle, and I requested that the audio was used in the video. Thankfully, Steven had discreetly mic'd up the string quartet, the registrar and even my groom. He was so thoughtful throughout the whole day — he worked closely with my photographer so no one would step on each other's toes. There was nothing amiss in each shot, and I was so amazed at his artistry.

Even after the wedding, Steven was open and honest about the stage of editing he was at, and was open to feedback about colour grading, sound volume, etc. It's rare to find someone who respects what you want in a wedding video whilst balancing the videographer's own artistic touch. We were so grateful to strike this balance with Steven for our wedding.

And don't let me forget about how amazing Steven is as a person! He felt like an actual guest on our wedding day, all our guests actually thought that he was a friend of our who we had invited. That's how easy Steven is to get along with people. He is a people person through and through, and none of our guests felt awkward being filmed. He caught so many moments that I didn't know happened on our big day, and if you're thinking about getting a videographer, DO IT and choose Steven!

Thank you Steven for being you, for being amazing on our wedding day, and for delivering a gift that we'll cherish for the rest of our lives.

Bethany and Matthew’s wedding at the Ramside Hall Treehouses was the ultimate blend of heartfelt magic, high-energy quirks, and pure best-friend energy. From emotional walks down the aisle to cardboard Bella the cat cameos, their day was entirely personalised to reflect a couple who are as crackingly adventurous as they are perfect for each other.

Wedding Day Highlights

The Ceremony was set in the stunning Dove Suite at Ramside Hall, live violin music echoed as Beth’s Grandad proudly walked her down the aisle.

Quirky Personalised Touches with beautifully hand-knitted flowers and custom knitted cake toppers brought a uniquely personal feel to the decor.

Non-Stop Laughs with Bethany keping everyone groaning and grinning with her endless dad jokes and puns including her iconic "What’s this made of? Dunno, think it’s husband material!"

Special Guest Appearance by their beloved cat, Bella, made a legendary debut on the dancefloor in cardboard cutout form.

Rounded off with a scenic portrait session across the Ramside Hall golf course, mixed with a hilariously naughty photo-sharing gag for Matthew throughout the day.

Keep an eye out at the very end of the video as I caught two actual collared doves kissing in the tree outside the Dove Suite!

Afternoon everyone, and a very warm welcome to this beautiful tree house within the grounds of Ramside Hall Hotel to the marriage of Beth and Matthew.

You are gathered here today on this wonderful occasion to witness and to celebrate the love and commitment Beth and Matthew have for each other this their wedding day.

Marriage is a desire by two people to share themselves and their experiences
a willingness to accept each other for who they are.

So, everyone here knows Dodge and Beth, they know the life they live, the adventures that they have.

Every weekend he's on an amazing adventure, he's doing wonderful things. And he used to always think to myself,

Does she put up with it?" And then I got to know Beth and realised, she's just as crackers.
You know what, they're an absolute match made in heaven.

Yeah. What's this made of? Dunno. I think it's husband material. Ahhh, cringe!

These two together has been brilliant. They've been together for such a long time that it's actually hard to imagine one without the other.

They're not just husband and wife. They're generally best friends. They support each other. They make each other laugh. They bring out the very best in each other,

Honestly couldn't think of two people who are better suited to one another.

As a licensed drone operator for weddings within or near the FRZ of the airport this is a great campaign to let other none licensed hobbyists who haven’t took the time to learn about the airspace and law. So if you have a drone at home and it has a camera, even if you think its a toy- you need to take the drone pilot test and there are laws for this. It is dangerous around an airport especially if you have a fly-away. Please share if you know anyone with a drone.

📬 Keep an eye on your letterbox!

Around 9,000 homes in communities surrounding the Airport will soon receive an important drone safety leaflet as part of a joint awareness campaign with Northumbria Police.

Why? Because we've recorded 92 incidents of unauthorised drone activity within our Flight Restriction Zone (FRZ) between January and July this year.

The FRZ covers a 5km radius around the Airport, including parts of Callerton, Darras Hall, Dinnington, Newcastle Great Park, Ponteland and Westerhope.

If you're planning to fly a drone in this area, you MUST obtain permission from our Air Traffic Control team at least 24 hours before the planned flight.

🚫 Flying without authorisation is illegal and can carry serious penalties, including an unlimited fine and up to five years in prison.

We don't want anyone getting caught out unnecessarily, so please take the time to check the rules before you fly.

This summer's been mad across the North East. Winter? Wide open.
Heatwave weddings from Newcastle to Northumberland have had me booked out for months, but here's the thing, I still have some winter dates sitting there, unbooked. Oh and the light over the Tyne in December is genuinely unreal.
