‼️We’re Still Waiting for Answers — So We’re Taking Action ‼️

Last night’s council Q&A left our community shocked and disappointed.
So many questions. So few answers.

These proposals directly affect all children and are going to have a huge impact on those with SEND — both at Langley First and at Appletree Gardens, where specialist spaces could be taken away with no clear plan for how those children will be supported.

One thing is clear — our children, our school, and our community deserve better.

We’re calling for transparency, fairness, and proper consideration for every child before any decisions are made.
Every voice matters — and we need yours.

A team of parents campaigning to keep Langley First School open so it can be here for generations to come.

With the council’s proposals on hold for the school to pursue academisation, we are looking forward to a bright future for our school.

We’ve said it before, but we’ll say it again — we’ve been blown away by your support. Every message, donation, and share makes a real difference, and we’re so grateful to every one of you.

As promised, here’s a quick update on what we’ve been working on — and how you can help us keep going 👇

✅ Thanks to your donations, we’re now engaging legal advice to support our campaign.
✅ Our research team is gathering key data to strengthen our case.
✅ A parent survey is being developed and will be shared to gather support from parents who’d like to volunteer and get involved.
✅ We’re working with a local designer and printer to get flyers out to those who may not be online.
✅ We’re preparing for our meeting with the council this Wednesday.
✅ And we’re continuing to work closely with local media to make sure every voice is heard.

We know it’s tempting to go off and do something yourself — but please remember, we are strongest as one voice. Every idea and thought you share with us is being heard and factored into our plan.
