A farewell for the inimitable Nigel Cabourn. A real honour to create flowers from his most loved yesterday. He occasionally called into the shop during his Ouseburn wanders and his energy was untethered and chaotic and infectious. Newcastle was lucky to have him 🤎

Painting continues (and this is not a small task if you know the studio) but with clean walls and less furniture comes new light and a view of the Byker bridges. And it's cardoon season 🍾

Lately. Some of you may have noticed that bouquets have been unavailable for a little while now. I am making some changes and having a very serious clearout / tidy up which I cannot deny, feels good. Thanks to everyone who has showed enthusiasm for the things that I no longer need. I am making space for new ideas and projects... I will try to write a newsletter about this soon as I feel I owe you one (probably more)
but I am enjoying the process of letting go.
