Well it's been a long time since I've used this page - all workshops stopped during Covid and it's taken a while to get up and running again.
BUT - I have a new workshop next week!
Come along and make a torn paper collage of a beach scene, like the ones shown here. I'll give you a frame so that you can leave with a ready made and presented artwork to hang and keep, or to wrap and give.
If you have any scraps of coloured paper at home, bring them along to incorporate into your collage.
It'll be a small, friendly group and the class takes place in my home studio in Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne. Just get in touch for further details or to book a place.

Had a great time last night with a lovely group of people, who made these fantastic Christmas cards. They're all made with linocut - some are reduction, others 2 separate linos. It's been a while since I've held a Pop Up but this has really got me in the mood for Christmas - bring it on!

Really enjoyed our session last night printing linocut labels for Christmas presents. Everyone managed to print 2 different designs and took home 24 labels each! Good work!

New Pop Up Session - last one before Christmas!
LINO PRINTING CHRISTMAS PRESENT LABELS
Wednesday 6th December, 7.30-9.30pm
£15 inc cuppa and cake

In this session we will be cutting and printing 2 different linocut designs onto labels of different shapes and sizes, so that all your Christmas presents have that special home made touch.
No experience necessary, no need to bring anything except a little Christmas enthusiasm!

We are trying something new at Pop Up Art Club - very excited to announce our first Life Drawing session (fully clothed - this is a no-nudity zone!)
The theme is DANCE and we have a very talented professional dancer, Brooke Brown-Adams from Freelance Dance North East, to pose for us.
This class is for absolute beginners, no drawing experience or skills necessary - it's a fun, relaxed introduction to various sketching techniques, with the obligatory tea and cake thrown in.
Let me know if you'd like to book a place.

Sorry for the lack of Pop Ups recently, have been concentrating on developing new designs for my range of prints and coasters, but hope to be Popping back Up soon with some new sessions x
