Congratulations to the lovely Michael and Sam who were married yesterday at Shotton Grange. They chose a showstopping aisle arch using our urns, hand tie pew ends which could be taken home by guests and beautiful bud vases for the tables. We hope you two had the most fantastic day!

We pay BT a huge premium for a business account between 2 x shops, no calls from 1 shop, only the line transferred to our main Quayside store.
Two years ago after being bombarded by BT to tell us we had to change contract to become 'cloud' based - you chaps must have had the same crap sent to you every other day...... we tried to change -

1st attempt aborted & a couple of weeks off-line, the hardware they had sent wouldn't work, it was incorrect for our stores & they couldn't then reconnect..... no apologies!!
then discovered this amazing deal had been defunct by BT without telling us ...... WTF??

2nd attempt - after much tooing & froing wouldn't work at our Queen Street store, eventually after a couple of months the engineers discoverd that it hadn't even been 'plugged-in' at some box outside, even though after poor Vyk had spent at least 2hours per day on the phone to BT!!!

3rd attempt - halleluya!! it worked but after 6 x weeks of being off-line & no phones, having to use our mobiles to piggyback the pcs in both shops - not a whiff og compensation, which we had paid for in our original contract ......UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

4th anomoly - we rceived a bill for OVER 2K with threats to send in receivers to an account number which wasn;t even a business account, let alone our account (another week of my life wasted on the phones to every department in BT, cut-off, transferred from pillar to post, country to country & then continent to continent ....... after several months they realised their mistake - but again not a whiff of an apology for all the threats & stress ...

5th attempt - we were behind on a payment - granted, but the payment was incorrect, eventually they corrected it & we paid, but not before they had downed our lines the same day ...... poor Vyk after another 2 weeks of daily calls & promises of 12 hours, 24 hours, 2 hours, 72 hours switching off our broadband etc etc - we are still without telephone lines & once again down to BT loosing so much business...... if the Quayside was a little better served with signals, we'd just go totally mobile, but the signals down there are appalling ......

Any advice on a decent, loyal UK centered phone company????

My advice to BT users NEVER fill in the forms for DDebit - they just take whatt they like or what comes into their heads.
There is NOONE who is responsible or who will take responsibility...
The call centres are in the main horrendous ..
Is it only us who have problems with BT???
We have now entered a complaint to the Ombudsman as there is nowhere to take a complaint with BT - oh & we got offered £20.00 compensation for 2 weeks without phones ...
6-8 weeks without phones £200.00 - clearly we told them where to stick these amounts.
