Part-Time Team Member — Mobile Catering & Street Food
About Us:
We operate two popular mobile catering trailers across Newcastle and the North East—our dessert trailer specializing in bubble waffles (Yumyaba) and our savory street food trailer (The Scrape). We are looking for reliable, friendly part-time staff to join our team!
The Role:
This is a flexible part-time role where you will work across both units depending on event schedules and trading needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with food preparation and serving customers.
Taking orders, handling payments, and delivering great customer service.
Setting up and cleaning down the trailer before and after events.
Working shifts in either the dessert unit or the street food trailer as scheduled.
Requirements:
Weekend availability is essential (most shifts take place on Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays).
Friendly, enthusiastic attitude and good communication skills.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
No prior experience necessary—full training will be provided!
