It's rare I post on my grid, but this Wedding from a week ago absolutely needs shouting about...

After seeing me at a friends Wedding down in Cheshie, Alycia & Martin booked me for their Wedding at the beautiful Lodore Falls in one of my favourite places, the Lake District

Pre-wedding chat done and I knew this has the potential to be amazing. Lush couple, wanting a vibe that plays in to my hands as an upbeat, creative DJ, and loads of guests around their age who love the same vibe!

A night full of 00s/10s bangers, 90s dance, club classics, some random drops, pop-punk/emo throwbacks and a few older favourites sprinkled in - the dancefloor was rammed from the start through til the very end!

The guests we're amazing, proper up for it and loads of fun. Feedback from guests throughout, after and even a lush message the next day has put a smile on my face ahead of a mad busy summer. Give me more of this vibe any day please!! 😄

Easily one of my favourite Weddings ever as a DJ (and I do love so many that I get to do)... and as a creative, upbeat DJ, one I got to have a load of fun with, both on song choice and performance / mixing styles!

Not all Wedding DJs are the same... some of us do events too! And I'm absolutely buzzing to be playing at Clubland by the Sea this year!

Like a lot of us, I grew up buying the Clubland CDs and partying to the big tracks out in Newcastle, so this one is a big one for me personally!

Can your DJ, actually DJ? 😂 This one can 👆

Sounds like a crazy question - but the reality is, with DJing being so accessible now and pretty much every song available within seconds, there's a huge range of talent / ability / skill out there now, alongside the range of experience...

Now to some couples, the ability to 'mix' or showcase DJ skill may not be priority, but for those who want an upbeat party vibe for the Wedding, a DJ who can do, can be key to keeping the energy going on the dancefloor...

From quick mixes, seemless transitions, clever drops and word play, to simply just avoiding long awkward intros/outros - a great DJ can apply skill & creativity to pretty much every upbeat song to evelate it and make the night flow better...

This concept applies as much to big club tracks as it does to the classics... infact the creativity can elevate the classics even more - especially when pairing them with current stlyes and making a night flow, that keeps everyone happy...

People often ask me at Wedding Shows & Open Days, 'what music do you play' - Essentially this is down to you and your tastes, not mine - I meet all couples prior to their Wedding for a proper consultation, to ensure you get a night that works for you...

I describe myself as an open-format, multi-genre, club style DJ (who does Weddings) - think great music influenced with your choices, in the vibe you want, mixed in a current and upbeat style

A rare grid post... but one that's well overdue to say I'm absolutely still here and more active than ever with work, just not so much on the socials

This summer has been MAD already and I have a ton of content that hopefully I'll get a chance to post when the workload cools a bit after the summer... until then the rare spare time is spent with family and friends, not in front of a screen

The photos attached are a few random ones but capture a sense of the great stuff I'm blessed to be involved in, the great couples I get to work for and just a couple the amazing suppliers I get to work with!

I've had some amazing all day Weddings, DJ'd out of the van at - played Bouncy Bingo at - managed to find some sun at for an outdoor ceremoy / music...

I've had some WILD evening parties, none more so than Saturday at following on from - WOW...

Played alongside some top musical talent in .sax 🎷 and 🎤 🎸

Had 2 more venues start recommending as a supplier to add to the various ones already doing so ♥️

Outside of Weddings I've also been on the decks at Digital Nightclub in Newcastle & Industry Nightclub in South Shields for two local events...

And... I'm now over 70% booked for 2025!

MASSIVE THANKS to everyone who recommends me, enquires, shares my stuff... It's been a great summer (and 2024) so far... roll on the rest of the year 🎧🥳
