An amazing few days getting to host some visiting RT members, Philip from Sweden and Kunj from Kenya.
Hosting guests has reinvigorated us all and helped remind us that in Round Table we are part of something so much bigger than our local club.
Embracing the fellowship of Round Table we have all shared stories of opportunities and experiences we've each had and look forward to.

Thank you Philip and Kunj, we hope you enjoyed your time in the Toon.

Observing the male in his natural habitat...🎙️

For many years, the modern male has been confined to the same familiar
surroundings.

The office.
The sofa.
The DIY aisle of B&Q.

Occasionally venturing as far as the supermarket, where he can often be
found staring blankly into the reduced section.

But every now and then...

He is reintroduced to the wild.

Watch as he cautiously approaches unfamiliar territory. A kayak. A
climbing wall. A charity challenge. Even a hot air balloon.
At first, he's unsure.

Then something remarkable happens...

He starts laughing.
He meets other males with similar interests.
He remembers what it's like to do something purely because it's fun.

Soon, confidence returns. Friendships form. New adventures are planned.

The transformation it seems, is complete. Nature, is healing.

This week we are not having our usual social meet up, instead we are dialing into the Round Table national membership info workshop.
As we are a new club and all our members are new to Round Table we have a lot still to learn and this is a great opportunity to ask questions and find out more about the organisation. This meeting is open to new members and people who have not yet joined, so if you are thinking about it you are more than welcome to join this meeting, drop a message or a comment and we can send you an invite to the call.

A huge thank you to John Riverside Falconry for a truly unforgettable evening learning about falconry and getting to meet and handle some of your beautiful birds.
I really hope we get the opportunity to do something with you again in the future.

Look to your left ...... then to your right ...... is there a young lad in your house aged 18-44 that's looking bored out of his skull knowing that Love Island All-stars is on again tonight?

Get him out to one of our events happening EVERY OTHER WEEK including but not limited to:
Axe throwing
Rock climbing
Fire walking
Dodgeball
Disc (Frisbee) Golf
Butchery night
White Water Rafting
And many, many more

He'll make new friends and come back tired and stimulated from the evenings play, full of street food and beers and his behaviour is sure to improve in the following weeks.
