Well what a busy week this has been!
A wedding at Shotton Grange, networking meeting with some fabulous ladies , a proposal arrangement with some very special 'Endless Love' Tulips, a special bouquet with Roselily's, a happy successful 2 year kidney transplant bouquet, the fabulous Leah .by.leah_ came to work with me on Friday doing wedding prep for Saturday's wedding at Jesmond Dene House. That's along with all the usual weekly orders! (Wedding pics to follow!!)

Today marks the start of Awareness Week, a campaign led by encouraging people to have more open conversations about death, dying and grief.

These conversations are never easy, but they can make such a difference. None of us like to think about a time when we may become too unwell to tell our loved ones what we would want.

Over the last few months, I’ve been meeting with people and their families in their homes to talk about floral tributes for funerals and celebrations of life. We sit down with a cuppa, chat about favourite flowers, meanings, sentiments and, just as importantly, the flowers they really don’t like.

It can be an emotional conversation, but for many people it brings a sense of comfort and control. For others, it’s simply one less decision for grieving family members to have to make later on.

I completely understand that it’s not for everyone, but this awareness week feels like the right time to share that this is a free service I offer for anyone who would find it helpful. 💛
