What a day! Thank you to everyone who gave up their time to run, to train, to raise money - to be part of this amazing event right here in the North East. The sheer dedication and determination was phenomenal to see. Thousands of people uniting together raising awareness and money for those they love and for causes so close to their hearts. The stories surrounding today were beautiful, sad and everything in between. Well done to each and everyone one of you 🖤

Absolutely brilliant time at the Great North Run. Cheering everyone on. Congratulations to everyone that took part. It’s been amazing seeing all 63000 of you zoom past.
