Peacefully at rest on Sunday 27th September 2026, whilst at the R.S.U.H, Sharon aged 54 years of Fenton. Beloved daughter of Roy and the late Sylvia. Much loved mum of Natasha, Anthony and Liam. Devoted nan of Amaan, Faizaan, Raheem, Renesmee and Jaxon. Loving sister of Roy. Cherished cousin of Dawn.

Sharon will be deeply and sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her loving family and many friends.

Suddenly on Saturday 19th September 2026
at his home, Carl aged 62 years of Knutton.

Devoted husband of Maxine, much loved dad of Adam, who he adored so much, amazing grandad of Jessica, Sophie and Isabelle, all of whom he loved so much.
Will be sadly missed by sausage dog Holly and parrot Burt. Treasured son of the late Doreen and Charlie. Loving brother of Sharon, Shaun, Jason, Lorraine and David.
A dear brother-in-law, nephew, uncle and son-in-law. Carl will be sadly missed by all his loving family and many friends,
especially wonderful friends Steve and family,
Kris and family, Mark and family, adopted son Alan and family, Bazza and Gill & Chris at the Units.

Service and Cremation at Bradwell Crematorium on Tuesday 6th October 2026 at 11:20am.

Peacefully at rest on Wednesday 16th September 2026 whilst at the R.S.U.H. Cynthia aged 85 years of Fegg Hayes Post Office, formerly of Burslem.

Much loved wife of the late Dennis, loving mum of Christopher, Susan and Steven. Much loved and adored nan of Luke, Jordan and Becky, cherished great-nana of Annabella.

Cynthia will be deeply and sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her loving family and friends.

Today we said farewell to Norman Brookes.

Norman loved life and loved a good laugh. He had a lifelong passion for Stoke City, a great love of Elvis and music, and took real pride in his garden and flowers.

Norman cared deeply about the people around him and was always willing to help others. His family meant a great deal to him, and he treasured his sisters, brothers, niece and nephews.

There will be many memories of Norman to look back on with a smile – the laughter, the stories, the music and all those little moments that made him who he was.

Rest peacefully, Norman. ❤️

Graham, aged 77 years, of Clayton.
Much loved husband of Shirley,
loving dad of Catherine and the late Stephen,

Today, we had the privilege of taking care of Ann and her loving family as we helped them say their final farewell.

The funeral service was held at St Philip’s Church, Werrington, a place that held a very special meaning for Ann. She spent many years worshipping there and was one of the very first brides to be married at the church when it first opened, to her late husband, Kenneth.

It was a beautiful and very fitting service, led by Rev’d Trevor Copeland, with family and friends coming together to celebrate Ann’s life and remember the wonderful lady she was.

Ann will be deeply and sadly missed, but she will always be fondly remembered by all those who knew and loved her.

Ann may you rest in eternal peace ❤️

A beautiful horse-drawn hearse provided a very special final journey for Sharon Bakewell, arriving for a well-attended ceremony surrounded by family, friends and many of the people who knew and loved her.
Sharon’s ceremony was a warm and personal reflection of the woman she was – kind, caring, funny, strong-willed and always very much her own person. Family memories brought plenty of smiles and laughter, alongside the sadness of saying goodbye.

From her love of gardening and family holidays to her role as a much-loved mum and Nanny Nut, the ceremony celebrated a life filled with family, love and many happy memories.

Sending our warmest thoughts to Paul, Wayne, Alan, Lisa and all of Sharon’s family and friends. May the memories they shared bring comfort in the days ahead.

May she rest in eternal peace ❤️
