Newbury Spring Festival across the world! One of our loyal supporters has been to Africa recently and took their NSF water bottle with them. So we've reached France, New Zealand and now Africa! Where next.....

We were delighted to be shortlisted for “Best Community Event” at last nights Greenham Trust awards. While we didn’t win, it was amazing to see all the great local charity work going on! Congratulations to all the winners!

We were delighted to host a small reception last night to mark the retirement of both Caroline Holbrook and Hugh Cobbe from the Festival Board.

Hugh has been on the Board for 10 years, and Caroline has been Chairman of the Friends of Newbury Spring Festival for 20 years!

We're grateful for all their wonderful support over the years. While they're no longer on the Board we look forward to still seeing them at concerts in the future!

We are very sorry to hear of the death of Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Kent.
Her dedication and love of music was and will continue to be an inspiration to many. Our thoughts are with our Patron, His Royal Highness The Duke of Kent, and her loved ones at this sad time.

"It was with great sadness that we learnt of the death of the Duchess of Kent. Her Royal Highness was Patron of the Newbury Spring Festival until 1998, a role she served with great dedication and distinction. Her twin passions were music and children and even took a role teaching music to primary school children. The Newbury Spring Festival has long adopted a programme which encourages young children to learn the joy of music, for example the Sound Beginnings events at Sheepdrove. The Festival will continue to do this in her memory and we remember Her Royal Highness with grateful thanks and great affection." Graham Barker, Chairman, Newbury Spring Festival.
