Tyne Amateur Rowing Club Tyne Amateur Rowing Club is based on the River Tyne at Newburn. It was founded in 1852 and is amongst the oldest sporting clubs in England.

Our club house also features a modern bar, function space and meeting room available to hire. Tyne Amateur Rowing Club is a registered charity in England. We aim to promote the sport of rowing especially within our local area as well as providing a bar/cafe, function & meeting space to our local community.

For children 11* - 18
A great activity to keep the children busy over the summer
Experience teamwork, build confidence and make new friends while enjoying the beautiful river.
No prior experience is necessary to start - Fun and skills await you.
