Young people in our community should be encouraged to think of fresh ways to get the community together and enjoy social gatherings like we did in the past. Because of our affordable prices and present financial stability, the Hall is used for most of the year. If you would like to join this committee and assist in running your village hall, you are invited to attend our meetings, which are held on the first Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. This is especially true for local organisations, which are entitled to two representatives on the committee.

We're excited to announce that Tappin'In is coming to another of our Rural Hub Towns and this time it's Creative Ollerton & Edwinstowe - Rural Hub Towns! 👞🎵

Join us Friday evenings between 6.00pm and 8.00pm from 9th May at Ollerton Jubilee Hall, Wellow Rd, Ollerton, Newark NG22 9AP.

So what’s in store? Learn tap dance with professional dancers and musicians Weekly 2-hour sessions full of fun, rhythm, and storytelling Perform at a local event (details TBC) Feature in a dance film with a premiere screening in Nottingham, September 2025 Free tap shoes – yours to keep Connect, share stories and enjoy plenty of tea and biscuits! Adults only, all abilities welcome – try seated dance or body percussion if you prefer.

There are only 15 places available, so sign up soon to avoid disappointment! Just email Martyn [email protected] with your shoe size and any access requirements.

Tappin’ In 2025 brings together partners from the arts, community, health and wellbeing sectors alongside a creative team, to create a bespoke Tappin’ In experience made by and for our East Midlands communities.

Our partners include Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, Inspire Arts and Culture, Blackfriars Arts Centre and OUTSIDE

Adults only. Free to attend. Ideally, you will attend all 12 sessions, as well as the performance and Film Premiere in September.
