Fringe 2026: DONE
The streets of the capital will remain full of visitors, performers and flyer-ers (and dancing tatties 🙄) for a little while longer, but we've played our part for this year.

We're honestly so blown away by the turnout and response every night. Out of thousands of other things you could be experiencing, you choose to become part of our tribe for the evening, and we're eternally grateful for that.

A massive thanks to Stramash too, not just the perfect venue for what we want to bring, but their entire staff look after us so well and somehow keep everything calm and stress-free despite the madness of the festival.

Easily the best Fringe yet, after our best summer yet.....and it's not over! This weekend we are heading to the Afon Mêl meadery by New Quay in Wales for their inaugural Celtfest Wales 2026. Very excited to be joining their amazing lineup of bands and checking out all the crafts and traders! (And of course....MEAD!)

Just a quick health and safety update for all attendees.

Although we have had significant rainfall overnight, the whole of Wales remains classified as still being in drought conditions. As a result, strict fire safety measures remain in place across the Celtfest site.

All fires are strictly prohibited in both the campsite and trader areas. This includes campfires, fire pits, charcoal barbecues, disposable BBQs, candles, and any other open flames.

Campers and traders may use gas stoves only, and these must be elevated at least 2 feet (60cm) off the ground while in use.

Please note that even our historical reenactors, who would normally cook over open fires, are required to use gas appliances in line with current restrictions.

We kindly ask that you do not bring firewood, fire pits, charcoal barbecues, or disposable BBQs, as these items are currently prohibited on the Celtfest site.

Thank you for your cooperation, patience, and understanding as we work together to keep everyone safe and protect the surrounding environment.

The Glastonbury Horde will be performing their fire and sword show on Friday night at Celtfest at 9pm and they will also be livening up the crowd at 6.30pm before the amazing Clann An Drumma Sunday night at 7.00pm.
With dialogue in both English and Welsh 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 you'll not want to miss them.
They won't be using fire this year but there is a contingency plan. 🔥🔥🔥⚔️⚔️⚔️
