First off we would like to say a huge merry Christmas and happy new year when it comes to all on here. Thanks for supporting us over the years.
And it’s become apparent that due to the recent events since 2019, hikes in prices, fuel, insurances etc that it is no longer sustainable to keep Larene’s open.
The covid crisis has hit our wee small business really hard, as so many other people started making stuff from home, selling things cheaper who weren’t insured or registered and it just isn’t financially feasible for us to continue this any longer which is a shame as we took great pride in our work, sourced materials/stock and kept it local where possible to give other businesses a
boost.
Also the amount of pressure we are under come December to make sure everyone gets their orders on time, plus seeing to our own commitments it’s just not worth it when customers don’t pay, cancel short notice and being left out of pocket is just not worth the stress!
So it’s with heavy heart that we are closing Larene’s. We may come back in a few years depending on the economy and whatever is happening with covid! Who knows! But again thanks to each and every customer over the years who has helped build us. It’s not goodbye its just a pause! We will be having a discussion in the new year about the cleaning side of the business as that also unfortunately is having the same issues, and it’s hard to make a living in this current time! We will update everyone accordingly.
