This weekend is all about SILC, social dancing and some seriously good music!
We’ve got a packed weekend ahead, with plenty of opportunities to work on your dancing and then put it all into practice on the dance floor.
SATURDAY – Progressive SILC Workshop at The Fuse
On Saturday afternoon, Maja and I will be taking you through our 3-hour Progressive SILC Workshop, and I’d love to see some of our dancers joining us.
Whether you’re looking for a new challenge, feel like your dancing has hit a bit of a plateau, or simply want to develop your connection, technique, style and confidence, this is a great opportunity to explore SILC and add something different to your dancing.
15:00–18:00
£30 per person / £50 per couple
And then, of course, it’s straight into The Fuse Saturday night freestyle, so you can put everything into practice!
SUNDAY – Sunday SILC at Penkridge
Then on Sunday, we have a whole afternoon dedicated to SILC, starting with a FREE Masterclass with Maja.
12:00–13:00 – FREE SILC Masterclass
13:00–14:00 – SILC Foundation & Implementation – £10
14:15–15:30 – SILC Progressive & Implementation – £10
15:30–19:00 – Sunday Social Freestyle – £12 on the door
And for the freestyle, we’re putting the music in the hands of Charlotte Cannon & Linda Wright – our Queens of SILC!
If you’ve danced in our second rooms, you’ll already know just how good these two are together. Expect an afternoon full of gorgeous chilled-out, lyrical, bluesy and SILC-y music – the sort of tracks that make you want to stay on the dance floor for just one more.
Add in homemade cakes, unlimited hot and cold drinks, a complimentary glass of w**e and a room full of fantastic dancers, and it should be a pretty special Sunday afternoon.
So whether you want to learn, develop, dance – or just come along for the music and social – there’s something for everyone this weekend.
