Balfreish Barns is officially back in business!

We’re absolutely delighted to share that planning permission has now been approved, meaning weddings and celebrations can continue here at the barns once again!

Balfreish Barns has always been about people, stories, family and unforgettable gatherings, so we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who supported us through the process.

A very special thank you to all the wonderful couples who previously got married here and took the time to support us. We can’t thank you enough.

We’re so excited for the next chapter at Balfreish Barns and for all the celebrations still to come!

Still smiling after Anna & Ben’s September wedding last weekend. Such a warm, joy-filled day surrounded by their wonderful families and friends. Every detail came together beautifully thanks to an incredible team of suppliers, making it a celebration to remember.

Wishing this lovely couple all the happiness in the world as they begin married life together 💫

I had my first trip to the gorgeous Balfreish Barns recently for Anna & Ben's beatiful wedding day. I had such a great time hanging out with these 2 and their guests and can't wait to go through the rest of their photos and video!
As a sidenote, I think I've done more weddings with Janet Donnelly Humanist Celebrant this year than without. I think it shows our couples are smart, attractive people with excellent taste :P

A Highland wedding with an Italian twist 🇮🇹 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Balfreish Barns was full of love, laughter, and lively dancing a few weekends ago as we hosted a gorgeous celebration that brought together two cultures beautifully.

There were sugared almonds (Italian confetti) and homemade Scottish tablet on every table, a ceilidh that had everyone up on their feet, and just the right mix of elegance and rustic charm.

The new Mr & Mrs are now off to begin married life in Italy, but we’ve no doubt a bit of Scotland will always be in their hearts! 💕 💍 ✈️
