Ideal Skills, Experience & Qualities
Practical Skills & Experience
Experience in housekeeping, caretaking, chainsaw use and other power tools.
Ability to carry out basic maintenance and upkeep (e.g., cleaning windows, stacking wood, simple repairs)
Knowledge of or willingness to learn gardening, and vegetable growing.
Confidence in working independently and also as part of a small team
Personal Qualities
Reliability and responsibility – someone who can be trusted to care for property and land
Adaptability – able to balance a variety of light tasks and seasonal needs
Respect for nature and heritage – appreciation of the land, history, and setting
