Based near the City of Inverness in the Highlands of Scotland, Good Highland Food was established in 2003 by accomplished chef Mike Crook. It was a busy May! 🧑‍🍳

From tastings and weddings to deliveries, as well as the opening dinner and ceilidh for the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival 🥃💃🕺, it has been a fantastic month for the Good Highland Food team.

As always, our rare roast fillet of Highland beef was a firm favourite and the tiramisu proved just as popular!

From tastings and weddings to deliveries, as well as the opening dinner and ceilidh for the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival 🥃💃🕺, it has been a fantastic month for the Good Highland Food team.

Three years ago today we had the honour of catering the opening dinner of the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival at Dallas Dhu Distillery 🥃🧑‍🍳.

This week, we’re back in Speyside, excitedly preparing to cater this year’s opening dinner at Craigellachie Distillery.

One of the nicest times of the year - spending time on tastings with people across the Highlands who are planning their events, along with our lovely wedding couples, both local and those travelling for their Highland destination weddings.

Here are a few favourites from the menu this year:

• Hot & Cold Smoked Salmon Terrine with Pickled Vegetables, served with Lemon & Black Pepper Crostini

• Rare Roast Fillet of Highland Beef with Port & Redcurrant Jus (a favourite that’s been on the menu for over 15 years!)

• Chocolate & Drambuie Torte with an Amaretti Biscuit Base

It’s always great helping couples and event organisers choose their menus, and we’re really looking forward to the season ahead. 🧑‍🍳
