What is an auction of pledges?
An auction of pledges is where people kindly donate items to be sold on the day from 12:30pm where you can bid on each item.

What kind of things can I donate?
We appreciate any donation big or small. Whether its an unwanted Christmas present, a voucher for something, or something hand made or baked at home.

How can I donate things?
If you would like to drop items off The Newcastle House in Rothbury or The Gate at Forestburn are kindly collecting donations for us just let them know its for the Hay Show with Simonside Country Fair. If its anything fresh feel free to bring it on the morning of Sunday 8th.

The day is here 🎉🎉
We have some amazing pledges for the charity auction so come down amd have a look, starting at 12:30.
The pipe band will be playing at 12noon as well.

A few more lovely pledges for the auction, but we have much more on offer.
From some lovely fresh bakes, or a few bottles of booze to meal vouchers and shooting lessons. We even have a valentines hamper.

The time has flown and we can't believe the Hay Show is tomorrow.

Another year another Hay Show

We can't believe how quickly the time has flown since the Country Fair in August.
The Hay Show is back on Sunday 8th February.

We are looking for the support of the wonderful community around us to put together our auction of pledges. Any donation is greatly appreciated. You can drop these off at The Gate, Forestburn or in Rothbury at the Newcastle House. Please just let them know you are dropping off for the Simonside Country Fair.

Between all your kind donations and the Country Fair last year we managed to donate £6000 to local worthy causes.
