Reading through some of the incredibly kind comments left by my couples for the recent Awards has honestly meant the world to me!

These messages were all submitted anonymously, so whilst I may not know exactly who wrote each one, please know how deeply grateful I am for every single word. To know that the films I create have made people feel so seen, emotional and connected to their memories is something I never take for granted.

Being trusted to capture such meaningful moments in people’s lives is truly the greatest privilege, and your support, kindness and encouragement means more than I could ever put into words.

Such a lovely morning at Linden Hall for The Wedding Guide UK networking event!

It was wonderful to connect with so many talented wedding suppliers, share stories from the industry, and spend time exploring the beautiful wedding spaces at Linden Hall. A huge thank you to the lovely Charlotte for hosting us so and showing us around the venue.

I still can’t quite believe I’m writing this…

Last night at the North East Wedding Network Awards, I won Best North East Wedding Videographer!!

My first ever award win and honestly, it means more to me than I can properly put into words.

If I’m being completely honest, I’ve struggled with imposter syndrome at times since starting Silver Fern Films as there are so many incredibly talented people around me, and it’s easy to question if you’re even good enough, so to be recognised like this (especially through votes from my own couples) is something I’ll never take lightly.

To every couple who has trusted me to capture their wedding, thank you! Truly. Without you, I wouldn’t get to do a job that I love so much. You are the reason I get to tell these stories, and the reason moments like this even exist.

A huge thank you as well to Michaela for everything she does for the Network. The North East Wedding Network is such a supportive, inspiring space, and I feel so lucky to be part of it. The talent within this industry is incredible, and last night was such a special way to celebrate that.

I’m going into this season feeling very grateful, very proud, and even more motivated for what’s ahead.

I’m a little behind on sharing some of my 2025 weddings, so I’m playing catch-up. I couldn’t not share this one though…

It was such a joy to film Hayley & Michael’s beautiful wedding day, beginning with the most sentimental ceremony at Foulden Church, a place that holds such special meaning for them both. From there, the celebrations continued at the stunning Paxton House, where the rest of the day unfolded with so much joy, laughter, and heartfelt moments.

Surrounded by family and friends, every part of their day felt deeply personal and full of love. From quiet, emotional moments, to the most amazing wedding cake I have ever seen, and the celebrations that carried on long into the evening.

It truly was a day to remember 🤍✨
