I've been so excited to share this one...

I had the joy of capturing Jess & Brad's incredible wedding at , and from start to finish, it was a day filled with laughter, love, and the best kind of energy.

Everywhere you looked there were smiling faces, happy tears, and guests who were more than ready to celebrate. The drinks reception was made even more memorable with a brilliant brass band setting the perfect atmosphere. Then, as if the day couldn't get any better, there was adorable alpacas roaming the grounds and the evening brought out the rodeo bull, plenty of dancing, and a party that no one wanted to end!

Their wedding was such a wonderful reflection of who they are as a couple; fun, relaxed, full of personality, and surrounded by so much love. It was an absolute pleasure to be part of such a joyful day, and one I'll remember for a long time 🤍✨

Summer weddings don't get much better than this...

I had the joy of capturing Catherine & Stephen's incredible wedding at Le Petit Château, and what a day it was. With the warm weather and beautiful flowers in full bloom, it was the perfect setting for an unforgettable celebration.

From the moment the drinks reception began, it was clear this wasn't going to be an ordinary wedding! Guests enjoyed delicious ice cream while being amazed by such a talented magician, creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Then, as the evening celebrations got underway, the dance floor came alive with the incredible energy of bongos and a saxophone, keeping everyone on their feet and making sure the party carried on well into the night.

Every part of the day was filled with laughter, love, and so much personality. It was an absolute joy to capture, and one I'll be smiling about for a long time 🤍

Reading through some of the incredibly kind comments left by my couples for the recent Awards has honestly meant the world to me!

These messages were all submitted anonymously, so whilst I may not know exactly who wrote each one, please know how deeply grateful I am for every single word. To know that the films I create have made people feel so seen, emotional and connected to their memories is something I never take for granted.

Being trusted to capture such meaningful moments in people’s lives is truly the greatest privilege, and your support, kindness and encouragement means more than I could ever put into words.

Such a lovely morning at Linden Hall for The Wedding Guide UK networking event!

It was wonderful to connect with so many talented wedding suppliers, share stories from the industry, and spend time exploring the beautiful wedding spaces at Linden Hall. A huge thank you to the lovely Charlotte for hosting us so and showing us around the venue.

And of course, a special thank you to Dawn for organising such a fantastic morning and bringing so many wonderful suppliers together 🤍

The North East Wedding Network Awards were such a beautiful reminder of how much talent, passion, and support there is within this industry.

Feeling very lucky to have shared the evening with so many amazing people, and even luckier to have come away with my first award 🤍

I still can’t quite believe I’m writing this…

Last night at the North East Wedding Network Awards, I won Best North East Wedding Videographer!!

My first ever award win and honestly, it means more to me than I can properly put into words.

If I’m being completely honest, I’ve struggled with imposter syndrome at times since starting Silver Fern Films as there are so many incredibly talented people around me, and it’s easy to question if you’re even good enough, so to be recognised like this (especially through votes from my own couples) is something I’ll never take lightly.

To every couple who has trusted me to capture their wedding, thank you! Truly. Without you, I wouldn’t get to do a job that I love so much. You are the reason I get to tell these stories, and the reason moments like this even exist.

A huge thank you as well to Michaela for everything she does for the Network. The North East Wedding Network is such a supportive, inspiring space, and I feel so lucky to be part of it. The talent within this industry is incredible, and last night was such a special way to celebrate that.

I’m going into this season feeling very grateful, very proud, and even more motivated for what’s ahead.
