We bring the sad news that Edna Gill, of Blockley, passed away on the 15th August, aged 97 years. She had a long and good life, well-lived.

Edna's funeral service will take place at The Vale Crematorium, Fladbury, on Wednesday 9th September at 2:30pm.

Donations in memory of Edna will be gratefully received for the MSA Trust (Multiple System Atrophy) and can be made in the collection box at the service, sent by post to us at Allen & Son, or online using the link below:

There will be an informal afternoon tea in Blockley on Thursday 17th September at 2:30pm, in the Heritage Centre Jubilee Hall.

Here is a little reminder, that our coffee morning is now less than 2 weeks away - how quickly did that go!

We have many tombola prizes waiting to be won and some lovely raffle prizes, including this lovely afternoon tea hamper and a voucher kindly donated for "Afternoon Tea for Two" at the White Hart Royal Hotel, along with a few more.

We look forward to seeing you all on Thursday 10th, from 11:00am.

We bring the sad news that Gillian Ashdown "Gill", of Chipping Campden, passed away peacefully on the 10th August, aged 92 years. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Another extremely hot week has gone by, and we are sure you are all, like us, hoping for some cooler weather, and even some rain!

As this year continues to fly past, we realised it was 3 years yesterday, since Badger came into our lives.

Those of you who have met him will know how excited he gets to see people and get attention - obviously, his mummy and daddy are very boring!😆

He has calmed down a little over the last 3 years, and does behave himself (mostly!), with the odd "lunatic" moment, but we absolutely wouldn't have him any other way.

Here are a couple of photos - a "baby" one, and his "gorgeousness" now.

Firstly, our apologies that it has been so long since our last coffee morning, but with hot weather and holidays, we thought it best to leave it a little while.

The good news is that we have a date for our next one for you to pop into your diaries - Thursday 11th September, 11am-2pm (only just under 6 weeks away!).

We will have all our usual cakes, tombola & raffle prizes, and all funds raised go to Cotswold Friends.

We really look forward to seeing you all, and will, of course, post up a few reminders nearer the time.
