This is a great outcome follow the Street Fair

***This Friday 10th July***

We will be selling a selection of loaded fries for takeaway & drinks this Friday 10th July from 6pm - 8.30pm due to the success we had with this at the Montgomery Street Fair last Saturday.

We'll have several tables and chairs set up outside The Checkers, or you can take your food away.

Please see the menu for what we are offering.

What a day Montgomery Street Fair 2026
was!

Thanks to all that came and were part of the fantastic event.

To our stall holder and food traders, thank you for being part of it!

Our performers and entertainers who showed so much talent.

Our small but dedicated voluntary group who work to host this event - everyone has a role and it all comes together. However we couldn’t do it without some extra extra people!

Marcus Boundy for supplying and helping install our wornderful stage
Monty Muscle for moving equipment and getting every thing in place.
Montgomery Show for the use of equipment
Tim @ TB Audio for the supply of our sound system
Jamie Goodchild for being our Sound Technician
Welshpool Squadron of the RAF Air Cadets for collecting donations on the gate
Parking stewards for helping down on the field
Local residents for the kind supply of electricity and wifi
Montgomery Energy Group for managing our waste and recycling throughout the day
Town Council for the recreational field for parking
Town Hall Trust for the use of the Town Hall throughout the day
Bunners for administrative and logistical support for the event
St John’s ambulance for being on first aid duty

And to anyone not specifically listed but played a part in ensuring the event was a huge success. Your help is gratefully appreciated!

Pencil next years date in your diaries - Saturday 3rd July 2027 we hope to be back!

- Parking is available at the Recreational field by the football club.

Or anywhere which is safe to do so around the local area.

Please do park with consideration to other road users and the local residents

Spending the day with us on Saturday?

There will be plenty of food and drink choices!

Local hospitality businesses in Montgomery will be open and ready - please do support them! Castle Kitchen Ivy House Cafe The Dragon Hotel, SPAR Stores Montgomery, Fish & Chip Shop and The Chequers.

On the street we have Jp's Hog Roast, Stwff and Things serving flatbread pizzas, Scoopalicious and Monty's brewery

Plenty of choice for everyone!
