Some of my highlights this year have been stepping into new spaces. Each have their own atmosphere, vibe and personality and I get to do what I love right in the middle of them! 🙌🏼

Day Five: Five Wedding Shows & Countless Connections🌙☁️

Wedding Shows have me completely in my element!

💕 Dressing up
💕 Meeting new people
💕 Chatting weddings and life with some completely random things thrown in there too!
💕 Good energy, great conversations and that brilliant buzz you get from connecting with couples right at the start of their planning journey

Sometimes it feels a bit like speed dating…quick chats, easy laughs and knowing pretty quickly if we click 🙌🏼

This year took Mooncloud to five wedding shows:

I’m so grateful to all the couples who booked there and then and to those who got in touch afterwards and have trusted me with their ceremonies too 🤍

And just as special…connecting with incredible new supplier friends along the way ❤️

My introduction to this industry has been all community over competition and I love that!

A look back at the year, one moment at a time.

Day Four: Four Unscripted Moments I’ll Never Stop Loving 🌙☁️

🤍 That first glance - when couples lock eyes at the top of the aisle and silently say “We’ve got this”. It gives me goosebumps every time!

😂 The laughter that sneaks in - a shared look, a whispered comment, forgotten words or a perfectly timed interruption. The bits nobody plans for and everyone remembers…for all the right reasons!

💧 Tears - so often from the grooms! Always unplanned and absolutely guaranteed to have me fighting them back too 🥹 2025 grooms, you know who you are 🙌🏼

✨ The split second after I pronounce a couple married - before the cheering kicks in - when it lands that something has just changed forever and family history has been made…it will forever be a privilege ❤️

None of these moments are scripted.
And they’re always the ones that stay with me 🌙☁️

Day Three: Three New Ways Couples Added Their Own Twist 🌙☁️

Every ceremony should feel personal and this year delivered some new favourites…

1. A Tea Blending Ceremony 🫖

Chosen because Daniel makes Nicola a cup of tea every single night. Two different teas, each reflecting their personalities and what they bring to their relationship - blended together, with their gorgeous son Oscar adding a hint of sugar to show the sweetness and fun he brings to their lives ❤️

2. A Quaich Moment That Could Only Have Belonged to Julie & Stuart 🥂

Married in an alpaca barn on the family’s brilliantly named Funny Farm, there was never going to be anything ordinary about this moment! A pigeon trophy, blue prosecco and a couple fully committed to doing things their way!

3. A Ceremony Timer 🏎️

Strict instructions were given on this one…because Mike had absolutely no interest in anything boring!
Ceremony complete in a Mooncloud record breaking 17 minutes and 13 seconds…with everyone just glad he chose to turn up to his own wedding instead of heading off to the car racing that day 🙌🏼

Proof that there’s no one “right” way to do a ceremony - just your way.

A look back at the year, one moment at a time.

Day Two: Two People Who Trusted Me To Flip The Roles 🌙☁️

Earlier this year, two of my mentors asked me to lead their vow renewal.

Two people who have guided, inspired and supported me said…

“Your homework is banging. You made me cry reading it. What’s your price and are you free 2nd August?” (Actual words! 🤣)

It was the ultimate compliment.

I’d never led a Vow Renewal before and this wasn’t to be just any ordinary one…

It was a full on forest fairy ceremony!
There was Robin Hood…and wings, flower crowns and woodland vibes that made it all feel like we were part of a fairytale 🧚

It was chaotic, sentimental, fun and completely, unapologetically them. It was incredible!

“We’ve made it to 10, so we’re doing it again” reminding us all that vows aren’t just a Day 1 promise…they’re a choice you make, re-make and make again ❤️

A day I’ll never forget 🌙☁️

A little look back at the year, one moment at a time.

Day One: One Moment I’ll Never Forget🌙☁️

This year I got to marry my friend Laura to her forever person, Stevie.

Being asked to do this was special enough, but standing right beside her as she said “I do”, whilst carrying their unborn baby boy, was something extraordinary ❤️

From planning it side by side in the school office, laughing at ideas, sharing voice notes and happy tears over wording…to arriving at the most serene lochside setting where the world felt still…everything about this day was calm, meaningful and perfectly them.

And to top it all off, Laura’s Mum and Dad invited me to stay on for the meal 🙌🏼

No fuss, no formality - just fun and family - and I was welcomed as if I was one of them.

That kind of warmth and trust is why this work will never, ever feel like “just a job.”

A moment I’ll always hold close ❤️
