When choosing the perfect site, you need to keep a few things in mind:
* How much space is needed?
Each Giant Hat tipi is 10.3m in diameter with the sides down, 13m with all the sides raised, and can seat approximately 70 people. The actual ground space needed depends on how many tipis you need and how they are configured (check out our floorplans page on our website for inspo!).
Tipis are great because they can be set up in a number of different ways to create a perfect and unique venue for each event that we do.
* Another thing you have to be mindful of is good access for vehicles and trailers to your chosen site. The closer we can get to the set-up area, the quicker we will be setting up the tipis, and the more time you will have to decorate!
The time required for each build is dependent on how many tipis are needed for the event.
*Some more important considerations:
- How exposed is the site? i.e. to the weather, to the public
- Is the ground level and well drained?
- What facilities and services does the site have? Toilets, water and power?
- Is the site free from overhead obstructions?
