Located in the heart of the Pennines, and with easy access to the M62 near Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield and Halifax, our venue provides a desirable location for your special day with excellent access and amazing countryside views. Offering a unique and intimate se

tting for your wedding and reception the Mirfield Monastery forms part of the church that is still used by the monks that live here. Our newly refurbished Romanesque Chapel provides seating for up to 110 guests to watch you say your vows. The Great Hall features high arched ceilings which are bound to make a lasting impression on your guests. With over 25 acres of walled and private gardens, and other areas perfect for your wedding photos, we are sure this is a venue with uniqueness that cannot be matched. We are able to assist with every aspect of your day, from menus to event planning. We can tailor individual menus to suit your taste, and we have the space and rooms to meet your big day dreams. Every wedding reception that takes place at Mirfield Monastery is special.

🎄🎄🎄It’s Never Too Early to Get into the Christmas Spirit!

Join us for a magical evening of festive celebration at The Monastery on Saturday, 20th December. For one night only, we’re hosting a spectacular Christmas Dinner & Party you won’t want to miss.

The evening begins with a drinks reception at 6:00 PM, followed by a sumptuous three-course meal, table games, and a lively disco to keep you dancing until 11:15 PM.

Tickets are £45 per person, and a fully licensed bar will be available throughout the night.

Gather your friends, dress to impress, and join us for a night of festive fun, delicious food, and celebration!

Thank you to all our fabulous couples for choosing and trusting us with your special day. It’s been wonderful getting to know each and every one of you.

Thank you to all the guests who supplied the laughter, dance moves and confetti throwing!

Thank you to the Revd Graeme Blackwell for the touching and joyful ceremonies.

Thank you to The Secret Garden in Kirkburton for another year of supplying the bar and their fantastic staff.
