Sweetheart tables 🤍

There’s pros and cons to every wedding table set up and honestly, there’s no right or wrong answer.

A sweetheart table can be a really lovely option if you have any family dynamics or situations you’d rather not navigate during dinner time 🙃 It can help avoid any unnecessary stress, tension or awkwardness on the day.

It’s also such a nice opportunity to actually enjoy your first meal together as a married couple — just the two of you ✨

So if a large traditional top table doesn’t feel quite right for you, consider a sweetheart table instead.

At the end of the day, it’s your wedding. Do what works for you, not what you feel expected to do 🤍

One thing we love about weddings is all the little details that make a day feel special ✨

And one detail couples often don’t think about straight away? Scent 🤍

We absolutely love working alongside Rachel from Olive + B, who has created two gorgeous signature scents for our Woolas couples to use as wax melts on their wedding day 🕯️

There’s always something so lovely about seeing guests walk into the venue and instantly notice the scent. It adds such a cosy, welcoming atmosphere and becomes part of the memories from the day itself☺️

Even better, couples can take the wax melts home afterwards and hopefully those same scents will spark all those wedding day memories again ✨

Rachel also creates beautiful candles and confetti, so definitely give a follow 🤍

We’ve recently moved house (finally!) and while unpacking I came across my wedding box… including my bouquet, created by the incredibly talented Lynne at Stems Design 🤍

I loved my bouquet. I carried it almost every second of the day and honestly didn’t want to put it down — it was just so beautiful.

After the wedding I dried it while we were on honeymoon, and it’s amazing that it’s still holding onto so much of its detail now. I do wish I’d had it professionally preserved, but hey ho… I’m just so glad I still have it — and all the memories that come with it ✨

It’s a little reminder that when we talk about the details with our couples, they go far beyond the wedding day itself.
The memories last a lifetime — and that’s what makes them so special 🤍
