Paige got married! 🤍

Paige has been one of our styling superstars for many, many years now she also owns Veils & Vows Designs . She’s styled so many weddings with me and is well and truly our Queen of details and greenery!

So, when she asked me to be involved in her own wedding day, it was such an honour to be part of it.

Setting up at The Fleece that morning felt so strange knowing it was all for Paige. Usually, she’d be right there alongside us, getting stuck into the styling and making sure all those little details were just right. I have to admit, I did miss having her there doing her usual thing! 😂

After all the weddings we’ve worked on together, it was lovely to turn the tables and help create something special for her.

Paige puts so much care into the weddings and stationery, so being part of her own day meant that little bit more. 🖤

Congratulations, Paige and Tom (& adorable Luca)! So lovely to see you on the other side of it all. 🥂

A little look back at Lucy & Matthew’s wedding at the lovely Tithe Barn earlier this year. 🤍✨

David Whittaker captured the day so well — not just the pretty details, but the people, the emotions, the fun and everything in between. Gorgeous moments to be treasured.

The tambourines were one of those details that wasn’t quite decided until the last minute… and I’m sooo glad they went for them. 😂 They looked adorable and I bet the noise when they walked in was amazing! Little details can make such an impact.

When we’re styling, we’re usually in and out, setting everything up, making sure it all looks lovely, then off we go before the real party gets started. So seeing your photos afterwards and getting to see how the day actually unfolded is pretty special. 🥹

And Lucy & Matthew’s day looks like it was one hell of a good one. 🥂✨

Last week was our 11 year wedding anniversary… and I didn’t even post about it. 😅

Life happened. The school runs, work, the house, the endless list of things that need doing… all the moving parts that make up actual life.

And do you know what? That’s ok.

He knows I love him. I don’t need to shout about it all the time surely! 😂😂

There’s a wedding reading that seems to pop up at so many of the weddings I’m part of, and every time I hear it, I think about our marriage. If Everything I Know About Love by Dolly Alderton. Check it out.

Love isn’t always the big, grand gestures. It’s the quiet moments too.

These days, Mr Lancaster, we might message each other more about what’s for tea and have you put the bins out? than we did when we were younger… But you know I love you.

11 years married, a crazy amount of years together and still my favourite person to do the boring everyday stuff with. ❤️

And maybe that’s the bit of weddings I love most — underneath all the flowers, pretty details and carefully planned moments, it’s really just two people choosing each other for all the ordinary days that come afterwards.
