There isn’t one correct way to find your dress. You might cry. You might not. You might find her in dress number one. You might need a bit more time. You might arrive knowing exactly what you want, or you might turn up with absolutely no idea.

And please don’t rule a dress out because somebody once told you it wasn’t “for your body shape”.

Come in. Explore. Be honest about what you love and what you don’t. Let us guide you where you need it, and forget the imaginary bridal rulebook.

Something exciting is happening behind our doors...

The Boutique is now closed until next Friday while we give Somerset Bridal a rather exciting refresh.

We’re not giving everything away just yet, but there are some VERY lovely new plans coming to life behind the scenes and we cannot wait for you to see what we’ve been up to.

While the doors are closed, we’re still here so you can still book your bridal appointment, send us any questions, or (our personal favourite) fill our inbox with your wedding photos.

Your Somerset Bridal appointment doesn’t start when you walk through the door…

We love getting to know you a little beforehand - what you’ve been saving, styles you’d love to try, anything you already know you definitely do or don’t want, and anything else that might help us make your appointment feel more you.

Love a phone call? Brilliant. Hate phone calls with every fibre of your being? Also absolutely fine. 😂

Message us, email us, send screenshots, send us a voice note… whatever feels easiest.

The more we know before you arrive, the more we can have a little head start on finding the dresses you’re going to want to step into.

Just when our gloomy autumn day needed a bit of sunshine… along come these gorgeous photos from Cyprus!

Karen, you looked absolutely incredible and we’re so happy we got to play a little part in your bridal journey.

CONGRATS… your wedding dress has arrived with us. And once you’ve finished staring at her, it’s over to the seamstress.

Even though your gown has been ordered in your size, there will usually still be adjustments needed to make the fit completely personal to you.
Length, straps, bodice, bustle… this is where the pinning starts and the seamstress magic happens.

And if you’ve been thinking, “Could we add this?” or “I’d love it if we could change that…” - tell them! Where it’s possible, your seamstress can help bring those ideas to life too.

And PLEASE bring your wedding shoes. Your heel height determines where the hem needs to sit, so those shoes are doing important work before they’ve even made it down the aisle.

Once everything has been pinned and agreed, your dress stays with the seamstress so they can get to work making all those alterations.

This is the bit where all those final little details come together… and your dress gets one step closer to being ready for YOUR WEDDING.
