The Importance of Giving 💚 📦

Today is National Food Bank Day, a moment to reflect on the importance of giving and supporting those who are facing difficult times.

One of our team members regulary supported a local food bank, their experience highlighted just how essential these services are and how quickly life circumstances can change.
You never know when you or someone you love might find themselves on the receiving end of this support. and it serves as a powerful reminder that anyone, at any time, could find themselves in need.

Food banks provide vital support to people from all walks of life, whether due to illness, homelessness, job loss, or simply the increasing pressure of the cost of living. Food banks offer emergency food parcels when people need them most.

These services are only possible because of the kindness of communities with donations coming from church groups, supermarkets, schools, local organisations, and individuals like you. 🫵

If you would like to help, please look at your local food bank website to see what items are needed particulary during the winter shortages, alternatively your local supermarket will usually accept food bank donations.

Every item helps. Every donation matters.

Our incredible Office Manager and Accounts Assistant, Alex!

There’s not much Alex doesn’t tackle head on here at Chameleon.
From keeping the office running like clockwork to invoices and account queries.

Outside of work, Alex continues to give her time and energy to others. She’s a passionate leader within the Scouts and spends countless hours organising outdoor activities, camps, and community events, rain or shine. Outdoorsy by nature or just sheer commitment, we’re still not sure!

Alex is also one of our first aiders and she takes the responsibility very seriously.
Whether it’s a papercut or something more urgent, she’s there in a flash with her GIANT first aid kit and no-nonsense efficiency. All she’s missing is her own siren! 🚨

Alex, we’re so grateful for everything you do, inside and outside your job description.
Your support, dedication, and heart make a real difference every single day. 💚
