Friday update fans

Sorry it’s a little late, it’s been a busy day of entries coming in & we have a few more races for 2026 now sold out - will be updating that over the weekend, we have very few places left for 2026.

We are working towards a pop up October date next month for you with limited entries & we have submitted “artwork” for a brand new medal for September next year. (Artwork is a bit of stretch given my drawings resemble that of a 6 year old !).

We are also hoping to arrange a seasonal December 5km too.

Our buy one get one free offer for the Flying Scotsman on Sunday 13th September will close at 8pm on Sunday.

We have opened up a waiting list for Top Gun in October & Christmas Eve & will very soon be doing Likewise for Fireworks & Gremlins.

It was great to have so many of you join us yesterday.

Whilst we have taken a break the past month from staging races we have been busy behind the scenes.

We have today ordered the new 2026 / 27 “Fox Hats”

They are like a product that rhymes with “Fluff” ( Not ‘Arf !) but as that’s a trademark & “multi functional neck & headwear tube bandana” isn’t that catchy we’ll go with “Fox Hat” as in “What the Fox hat ?”

This is a limited edition of only 100 !

We have had a rush of entries which means if you want to run on a Saturday with us in 2026 you have until Monday night to book. On Monday we will be closing entries for the Saturday’s of :

Sept - Flying Scotsman
Nov - Fireworks
Dec - Gremlins (*editted - SOLD OUT).

Also we are down to the following last few places for a few other events

Mystery Marathon - 2 places
Fireworks 5km - 2 places
Fireworks Friday - 4 places
Gremlins Friday - 6 places
Gremlins Sunday - 4 places

October’s Top Gun & Christmas Eve’s Die Hard are full.

We still have Dec 23rd places & Flying Scotsman 5km places.

Good morning it’s a lovely sunny morning whilst I’m out course marking so as a bit of multi tasking I thought I would launch a brand new 5km for you just ahead of our Bullet Trains event at 11am

Sticking with the trains theme but going back in time on Sunday 20th September we will celebrate the beautiful Flying Scotsman steam locomotive.

Entires are a little bit more limited on this one with 25 places available.

We’d love you to chop chop choose to run with us. Did I mention there’s a pub at start & finish ?!

We are still offering free places for Flying Scotsman Sunday on a buy one get one free basis.
