Fiona, Fairy Godmother Celebrant

Fiona, Fairy Godmother Celebrant Family ceremonies include weddings, Funerals, naming ceremonies, renewal of vows and any other life event you want to celebrate.

These are centred around you, your lives, your stories, your interests and your imagination. Writing personal ceremonies and conducting them for people and their life events is a privilege. Whether it is celebrating a wedding or remembering a loved one at their funeral, naming a baby or child, renewing wedding vows the ceremony is always centred around the person or couple involved. It's their day and it's special.

Sunday Wisdom ✨📖

Do All the Good You Can

There is a wonderful quote from John Wesley that says:

"Do all the good you can,
by all the means you can,
in all the ways you can,
to all the people you can,
as long as ever you can."

These words carry such power and simplicity. They're not asking for perfection. They're not asking you to change the world in one grand gesture.

They're asking you to do what you can, with what you have, right now.

Maybe today that means a kind word to someone who's struggling. Maybe it's listening without judgment. Maybe it's showing up for someone even when you're tired. Maybe it's choosing compassion when it would be easier to turn away.

The good you do doesn't have to be big to matter. It just has to be real.

So this week's question is:

What good can you do in the world today?

An Unlikely Friendship (Prologue)

I’m so excited (and a little nervous!) to start sharing my book on Medium, chapter by chapter.

The Prologue is now live, and it sets the scene for a story about unexpected connection, gentle courage, and the kind of friendship that changes everything.

Read it here: https://medium.com//an-unlikely-friendship-4d73d27ef394

If you read it, tell me what line or moment stayed with you. 💛

Thursday Story ✨📖

Why I Created This Membership.

A few years ago, I was burnt out. Exhausted. Running on empty, trying to be everything to everyone. Bullied at work and losing myself. My confidence was at an all time low.

It was time for me, I needed to find myself.
I got help, I trained as a celebrant and found my inner Fairy and started to be true to myself.

That's when I realised something: the magic I create in ceremonies isn't just for those special days. It's a choice to see the extraordinary in the ordinary.

I started asking myself: what if I could create a space where people could access that magic year-round? Where they could be supported, celebrated, and guided in living their most authentic, magical life?

That's what the Fairy Godmother Grove is. It's not about me waving a wand and fixing everything. It's about creating a special place where you remember your own magic. Where you're never alone. Where you belong.

This membership is for the dreamers, the seekers, the ones who believe in magic, the ones who are learning to again and the ones who want to be themselves with no judgement.

Wednesday Wisdom with Mint ✨

In Celtic times and Druidic traditions, mint held a valued position as a symbol of hospitality, mental clarity, and spiritual renewal.

Hospitality & Safe Haven: Mint represented warmth, friendship, and welcome. In Celtic household traditions, fresh mint leaves were rubbed onto tables or doorway thresholds to cleanse a home, welcome guests, and create a harmonious, peaceful atmosphere

Respiratory Care: Inhaling steam infused with wild mint was used to clear blocked sinuses, relieve coughs, and break up congestion.

Food & Meat Flavouring: Mint was commonly paired with fatty meats (a precursor to traditional mint sauce with lamb) to aid in digestion.

Monday Motivation 💜✨

As August closes, reflect on how far you've come. You've grown more than you know.

It's easy to get caught up in what we haven't accomplished, what we still need to do, where we're falling short. We focus so much on the destination that we forget to look back and see how far we've travelled.

But take a moment right now. Look back at where you were at the beginning of August. Look at the challenges you've faced, the decisions you've made, the ways you've shown up for yourself and others. Look at how you've grown.

You might not feel different. You might not see the changes yet. But they're there. In the small moments of courage. In the times you chose yourself. In the ways you've learned and adapted and kept going.

As we move into September, I want you to carry this with you: you've grown more than you know. You're stronger, wiser, and more capable than you were a month ago. And that's worth celebrating.
