Whilst it is chemically identical to fossil, it is instead made from agricultural and forestry waste which would otherwise end up in landfill or be left to rot, producing the greenhouse gas methane."

The first ever sustainable handicap powerboat racing event in the UK is to be hosted by the Windermere Motor Boat Racing Club next month.

A United Nations report reveals that governments are making insufficient progress in reducing greenhouse gas emissions to mitigate the impacts of global warming. 🌎

The report found that emissions could rise 9% above 2010 levels by the end of this decade, and fall to 2% below 2019 levels by 2030.

This is far short of the 43% reduction needed to stay within the 1.5°C target envisioned by the Paris Agreement. 🌍🔥
