Coming up: our next concert, at 7.30 on Friday 24 October at Cairns Church, Milngavie, is a recital by the brilliant young Russian-born pianist NIKITA LUKINOV. The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s youngest ever professor, Nikita performs an exciting programme of Russian virtuoso piano music by Scriabin, Prokofiev and Tchaikovsky, including Mikhail Pletnev’s stunning arrangement of Tchaikovsky’s ballet ‘Sleeping Beauty.’

This Saturday 11th October as part of our Music Hub Day the Resol Quartet will be performing Schubert’s early Quartet in G minor D.173 at 2pm in the foyer of Cairns Church, Buchanan St. Please come along and listen if you would like to. Coffee and cake will be available.
Entrance is free but we would welcome a donation to help with this valuable long-term project which facilitates amateur musicians to play chamber music together 😁

Beethoven's Septet was his most popular work in his lifetime but you rarely get to hear it live - until now! It will be the crowning glory of our season-closing concert when London-based ensemble Chamber Music Box comes to Cairns Church. That's on Friday 25 April at 8pm (note the later time - our AGM is at 6.45). It's glorious, life-enhancing music and this brilliant group will also be playing pieces by Richard Strauss, Nielsen and Errollyn Wallen. Don't miss it!

Tickets only £15 from our website (www.milngaviemusic.org), in person from the Honeybee Bakery in Station Road and at the venue on the night.
