On Saturday 19th September, DAW Paranormal returns to one of the most intriguing locations we investigate.

Lilliput is somewhere we know well, and previous visits have given us plenty of reasons to go back.

During our most recent investigation, we recorded trigger-object activity in the Hall of Dolls, unexplained table movement, and a strange thermal anomaly close to a guest who had just reported feeling suddenly cold.

We’re not calling any of that proof.

But we do think it is worth investigating again.

🎭 TRINITY THEATRE, COWES – LAST FEW TICKETS

This Saturday, we’ll be stepping inside Trinity Theatre after dark for a four-hour paranormal investigation — and only a few places remain.

On Saturday 22nd August, DAW Paranormal will be taking a small group inside Trinity Theatre in Cowes for a full evening of paranormal investigation.

Once the doors are closed and the lights are lowered, you will explore the theatre using a mixture of modern investigation equipment and more traditional methods.

You will have the opportunity to take part in:

The theatre may be empty — but will we be alone?

𝐀𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐋𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐮𝐭 𝐃𝐨𝐥𝐥 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐮𝐦

We had another fascinating investigation at Lilliput Doll Museum last night, with activity experienced in both the Hall of Dolls and The Cottage.

Our evening began in the Hall of Dolls, where we appeared to receive some interaction with our coin trigger object. One of the cat balls was also activated during the session.

While in this area, one member of the group reported experiencing a distinct feeling of cold. We investigated this using the thermal imaging camera, which appeared to confirm a colder area around them. The camera also displayed an unexplained humanoid-shaped figure beside the participant, which seemed to pulse in and out of the image.

We later moved into The Cottage, where the table-tipping session produced considerable movement. The table initially tipped in response to questions before beginning to spin. Interestingly, the activity continued regardless of which participants had their hands on the table at the time.

Everyone involved in the EVP session approached it patiently and followed the method extremely well. However, after reviewing the session, we did not capture anything that we could confidently present as evidence.

The Estes Method proved more productive. Several responses appeared to correspond with information and experiences recorded during previous investigations, while others complemented details gathered elsewhere during the evening. These connections will be documented and compared as part of our continuing work at the museum.

As always, we approach each experience carefully and consider possible environmental or natural explanations before drawing any conclusions.

All in all, it was a thoroughly enjoyable and intriguing night.

🔍 DAW Paranormal is Recruiting Lead Hosts and Assistant Hosts

As DAW Paranormal continues to grow and work with more historic venues across the Isle of Wight, we are looking to expand our team of experienced event hosts.

We are currently recruiting for:

Lead Event Hosts
Lead Hosts will be responsible for confidently guiding groups, delivering structured paranormal investigation sessions, managing the evening’s schedule and helping to ensure that events are professional, safe and enjoyable.

Assistant Event Hosts
Assistant Hosts will support the Lead Host, help guests use investigation equipment, assist with sessions and contribute to the smooth running of the event.

Applicants must have:

• Previous event-hosting experience
• Paranormal investigation experience
• Their own reliable transport
• Confidence working with members of the public
• A calm, professional and responsible approach
• Availability for evening and weekend events

We are looking for grounded and practical people who understand that our investigations are organised, respectful and evidence-focused.

This is not a mediumship role. Hosts must be comfortable leading or supporting a range of paranormal investigation methods while avoiding sensationalism or making unverified claims.

These are paid casual roles, with work offered depending on event dates and staffing requirements.

A Strange Night at Dimbola…

We may have forgotten to take a group photograph, but Saturday night certainly gave us plenty to talk about.

The investigation began with a number of taps heard during our opening session. With windows open nearby, we could not rule out a natural cause, but they were still noted as part of the evening.

Later, during an otherwise very quiet Estes Method session, the silence was suddenly broken by what appeared to be a plea for help, followed by words suggesting that someone had died.

One of the most striking moments came during mirror scrying. A guest began to see the face of a balding man forming in the mirror. Before she had told anyone what she could see, another person in the room announced that her face appeared to be changing into that of a balding man.

Elsewhere in the building, footsteps were heard from above, despite nobody being in that area at the time.

A strange flashing light was also witnessed more than once. At first, it appeared to be coming through a window, but on closer inspection, the area was not a window at all — it was a plain wall. We were unable to establish where the light was coming from.

In Julia Margaret Cameron’s bedroom, the SLS camera produced several apparent figures, including in areas where the camera had not calibrated against obvious objects. At one point, someone asked whether a figure could wave if it was a woman. Its arm immediately appeared to lift and wave towards us.

As always, these experiences are not presented as proof of paranormal activity. Some may have ordinary explanations, while others remain more difficult to account for. Our role is to document what happened, consider possible causes and continue investigating.
