An Opulent Celebration in Axbridge ✨

Last Saturday, Evie and I had the privilege of capturing a truly luxurious Gypsy wedding - Joeline & Joby.📷

A day defined by timeless elegance, exquisite detail, and pure devotion. Joeline, radiant in a breathtaking couture gown with an endless train, complemented by striking royal blue florals and bespoke styling. A week ago I met up with Becky & Matt for their pre-wedding shoot at Dunster Beach, and what a shoot it was!🤩

We had wind, we had laughs, we had purple and green smoke bombs lighting up the beach, and we had these two just being completely themselves. That’s exactly what I love about pre-wedding shoots: no pressure, just time to hang out, get comfortable in front of the camera, and have some fun before the big day.😊

Becky and Matt, thank you for trusting me and for bringing so much joy and energy. If this is how the pre-wedding went, next month’s wedding is going to be incredible. I cannot wait to be there for you both!🥳

What a Saturday! 🤍

I had the absolute honour of photographing Catherine & Charles and their beautiful wedding day, with my second shooter Evie by my side.📷

The ceremony at the stunning St Mary Redcliffe Church in Bristol was just magic - full of emotion, laughter, and so much love. From Catherine walking down the aisle with her dad, to those intimate moments at the altar and the joyful getaway in the vintage car... what a day to be part of.🤩

There is a reason I always include black & white.😉

Colour tells you what they wore, what the light looked like, where we were.
Black & white tells you what it FELT like.😊

No distractions. No perfect colour matching. Just skin, touch, laughter, the way a little hand holds on a little tighter. The way mum looks at them when she thinks no one is watching.

This beautiful family has been with me for years. I've watched them grow, and that's the greatest honour. Yes, of course they received the full colour gallery too, full of warm, sunlit tones. But when I saw these frames in black & white, time stopped.

They are no longer just photos from yesterday. They are memories that will feel the same in 30 years.☺️

That's the magic of BW for me. Timeless. Honest. Pure emotion.
