//Happy One Day Married Mr & Mrs Mallock - 29th August 2026!

What a day yesterday for Holly and Charlie at Priston Mill! These two met at sixth form when they were just 17 and have been together ever since. 🥰

Ten years later, Charlie pulled off a pretty impressive proposal in Bali, complete with a private dinner, string quartet and secret photographer. Yesterday they finally made it official, surrounded by their closest friends and family.

Beautiful live strings, loads of laughs and a proper party to finish. Such a lush day from start to finish!

//Happy One Day Married Mr & Mrs Mawhood - 15th August 2026!

What a day yesterday for Beth and Mike at the beautiful Barley Wood! A classic, timeless wedding, but most importantly the energy was incredible! 🥰

These two actually first met at a GCSE party when they were 16, where romance apparently started with Mike holding Beth’s hair back while she was sick behind a shed 😂 Life took them in different directions for a while, before they found each other again, and after Beth initially turned poor Mike down, a second first date eventually happened and they’ve been inseparable ever since!

Mike’s proposal came before running his first marathon, back where their story of little getaways began, staying in a Shepherd’s hut. A slightly suspicious walk, a swing outside the hut, a few lovely words and Mike was down on one knee. Beth said yes, then the following morning he casually went and ran a sub four hour marathon! 😂

Yesterday brought everything together at Barley Wood, overlooking the Mendips where they both grew up. Loads of laughter, family, friends, gorgeous summer weather and a proper party to finish it all off. Such a lush day for two genuinely lovely people! ❤️

//Happy One Day Married Mr & Mrs Vicary - 14th August 2026!

What a day yesterday for Louise and Ben at the beautiful Coombe Lodge! A proper big celebration with their favourite people, loads of laughter and all the timeless country house wedding vibes. Starting over at St Andrew’s Church in Blagdon before heading back to Coombe Lodge to get the party properly underway.

These two first met at the University of Birmingham, where “Ben from 49” quickly became a topic of conversation between Louise and the girls! They spent their first year becoming closer friends before finally stopping being silly and making things official. Ten years later, after growing up together, travelling the world, buying a home and becoming absolute best mates along the way, they finally got to call each other husband and wife.

And the proposal, Friday the 13th of all days! A weekend away in Somerset, a gorgeous treehouse lodge, champagne, Ben deciding he absolutely couldn’t hide the ring any longer, and Louise crying as he got down on one knee. Turns out Friday the 13th isn’t so unlucky after all!

Such a fun, joyful day for two genuinely lovely people. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Vicary, wishing you the absolute best for married life, plenty more travelling & another cat! a

//Happy One Day Married Andrew & Tamsin - 3rd August 2026!

Well, yesterday was one of those weddings that felt totally effortlessly elegant from start to finish! Andrew and Tamsin married t the stunning Crowcombe Court, surrounded by their favourite people, with a day From the grand setting to the packed dance floor later on, complete with a saxophonist getting everyone involved, it was an absolute bliss to photograph.

Their story started in the most unexpected way. Tamsin was working as a lettings agent when Andy walked into the office with his parents looking for a flat. She genuinely thought he couldn’t stand her, when in reality he was just mortified his mum was there! Luckily Tinder gave them a second chance, an Indian meal followed, and Tamsin quickly realised he’d fancied her all along. Fast forward to a rooftop in Sicily overlooking Mount Etna at sunset, where Andy finally found the perfect private moment to ask the question.

Congratulations you two. Wishing you both a lifetime of adventures, travels, laughter and, of course, many cats! ❤️

//Happy One Day Married Mr & Mrs Dowling - 25th July 2026!

Yesterday Hayley and Simon finally became Mr & Mrs Dowling after a journey that’s been over 14 years in the making, Their day was so relaxed and beautifully paced.

Their story started with an unforgettable first meeting at a Mardi Gras, where Simon quite literally caught Hayley as she fell backwards off a bench! Thankfully their next meeting was a little more memorable, and the rest, as they say, is history. Fast forward to ten years after their very first date, Simon surprised Hayley with a proposal at home, hiding the ring inside his jacket before handing her a Christmas card addressed “To my fiancée”. Smooth! The surprise was complete, with plenty of tears from both of them.

They chose Quantock Lakes because it simply felt right. Away from the usual local venues they’d visited over the years, it offered everything they were looking for. Beautiful surroundings, an incredible place to stay, and a church just moments away. The whole day felt relaxed and effortless.
Congratulations you two! Wishing you both and Archie a lifetime of happiness, laughter and making the most of every single day together. ❤️

//One of the biggest misconceptions in wedding photography is that beautiful photographs come from knowing how to pose or act in someway.

I don’t believe they do.

I believe they come from connection.

The more you think about how you look, the less attention you give to the people around you, that includes your partner. And that’s the very thing a photographer is searching for.

It’s not my job to create your connection.

You already have that.

My job is simply to create an environment where you feel comfortable enough to forget about the camera and be present with each other and your guests.

It’s becoming harder.

Social media has convinced us that we need to perform, to look a certain way, to recreate what we’ve seen online. Not just for weddings but ultimately in everyday life!

But the irony is that the more you perform, the less authentic your photographs become.

If you can let go of how you think you should look, and focus on each other and the people around you instead, that’s where the magic happens.

That’s what creates photographs that don’t just look beautiful.

They feel beautiful.

//Happy One Day Married Mr & Mrs Hanlon! - 18th July 2026!

Yesterday was everything a wedding should be. Personal and completely centred around what mattered most…family. Surrounded by just 39 of their favourite people, Dominique and Conor officially became The Hanlons in the beautiful Bath Guildhall followed by great food, cocktails and plenty of laughter at The Architect.

Their story began over a decade ago during Freshers’ Week at university in Bristol, where Conor turned up dressed as a Smurf and Dominique as Where’s Wally. Safe to say it worked! After nine wonderful years together, the arrival of their daughter Matilda gave them the final nudge to stop putting it off and make it official. The wedding wasn’t about putting on a huge celebration, it was about celebrating the family they’d already built together, and that made the whole day feel incredibly special.

Congratulations you two. Such a brilliant day. Wishing you both & Matilda all happiness in the world and many more trips to Mauritius. ❤️

//Happy One Day Married Mr & Mrs Perrott - 17th July 2026!

Like many Bath Guildhall Weddings, Yesterday morning was all about keeping things simple, meaningful and celebrating with the people who matter most. Emma and Nick chose an intimate wedding in the Georgina Room, surrounded by just 32 of their closest family and friends, Emma given away by her maid of honour, before strolling through the city to celebrate over lunch at Corkage. It was relaxed, fun and completely true to who they are.

Their story began at Future Publishing, although life took them in different directions before they reconnected through mutual friends. Since getting together in 2018 they’ve built a life together, bought a home, and after a surprise proposal on the final night of a holiday in Mauritius, complete with questionable cocktails! and a bottle of champagne, it was finally time to make it official.

Congratulations Emma and Nick, thank you for letting me be part of such a lovely morning. Wishing you both every happiness for the years ahead! ❤️

//Happy One Day Married Rhiannon & Matthew - 11th July 2026!

What a lush day yesterday for Rhiannon and Matthew at the beautiful Roundhill Barn overlooking the stunning Kelston countryside. Relaxed, soulful and full of love, this DIY wedding couldn’t have been more personal. From the incredible views across Bath to the warmth of both families coming together, and a celebrant led ceremony from Tara every part of the day felt like a true reflection of them.

Their story started years ago working together in Holster in Bath before life took them in different directions. It wasn’t until a chance reconnection years later over what was meant to be a quick drink that everything changed. That first date turned into hours of conversation, dinner, wine and a walk along the canal, and the rest is history. Their proposal overlooking the Great Rift Valley in Kenya was just as special, even if it started with a cycling crash! Thankfully the day ended with dancing at sunset, a proposal, and then Rhiannon getting down on one knee the following morning to make it official.

Congratulations you two, thank you for letting me be part of such a beautiful day. Wishing you both a lifetime of adventures together. ❤️
