Im sure that plenty of people have seen the recent posts shared about me and im going to keep this as brief and without going in to too much detail as possible just to provide reassurance to my current bookings.
The panic and hysteria that a small group of individuals have managed to cause amongst brides is quite frankly disgusting. Somebodys wedding is the biggest day of their lives, years of planning sometimes and down to the very last detail and ive been honored to be such a big part of hundreds of wedding days over the last 6 years. Anybody who uses somebody's unfortunate circumstances, as a platform to cause pure panic and ruining the biggest day of someones lives, just to score points or in order to promote their own business - there are no words for you.
Although i am having a very very hard time with my personal life, i do not want anyone to mistake my silence as confirmation that any of this nonsense is true.
Remaining as brief as possible, because i can't handle more of the absolute circus thats been created this week... I have never in 6 years let a wedding down, i still now to this day have never let a wedding down and there was never any suggestion of anybodys wedding being let down or anybody being scammed. Last week 2 individuals stole a full wedding range from my unit, it was a wedding range that was booked out yesterday and i did indeed call the girl who had stolen them from a pig to a dog, because whatever grievance she believed she had with me, you don't ruin someone's wedding day. My Ex partner who was a joint owner of the business had given her permission to go and take these items from the unit so technically she had permission. Although she did cause me an inconvenience and I would have had to improvise on certain flower arrangements for saturdays wedding, there was never any suggestion made to anybody that this wedding was not going ahead, everything was booked in, my staff and me were outside the venue at 8am with the van as planned but unfortunately this bride had been told that i had taken her money and gone on the run. Understandably she was distraught and the evening of her wedding being told that i wouldn't be doing her decor by others, she has then had someone else decorate and i will of course be refunding her in full.
After things were wrote on social media, i took myself away for the evening with my phone on do not disturb, i was unable to be contacted for a grand total of 7 hours and when i put my phone back on at 10pm there was absolute carnage been caused.
Ive seen posts on the wedding sites by one particular idiot whose only experience in this industry was driving my work van last year to get my staff to and from jobs. I have not used anybody elses pictures of their dancefloor or otherwise. I have 6 years worth of my own images of my own top of the range decor and i certainly do not need to use pictures of somebody elses 'Temu' answer to a starlit dancefloor.
If you are booked in with me, please do not worry. In 2021 myself & son actually died and i STILL made sure every single job was taken care of from the ICU and it would take a lot more than a group of idiots doing my unit over to cause me to let somebody down. Ive always stood by that if your booked in with me, it doesnt matter what happens, im making it happen and you will never ever have a clue about any problems going on in the background...unfortunately other people have made sure to cause absolute carnage.
This week has made me want to give up, ive been ready to start advertising to get rid of everything and giving up but there are a couple of people i have spoken too last night who have reminded me who i am. I am not taking extra bookings at the moment but i would like to reassure everyone, i am going nowhere. Isla Blooms is my pride and joy and i will be back on top in no time.
I would like to say a huge thank you to all of my brides and bookings who i have spoken too over the last couple of days for believing in me and trusting me. I won't be around a great deal over the next few weeks whilst i fix my life but i absolutely assure you that every single booking is going ahead.
Please can i ask that nobody comments any names or comments of those involved in this.
I would also like to make it clear that the ONLY place you can book my decor is through me and I have 1 or 2 companies who I dry hire too who are listed on our website. You cannot book my ranges or props anywhere else or through anyone else.
