Almost six years of creating children’s birthday balloons has taught me one thing: nobody really asks for Frozen!

They really want Elsa, with Anna and Olaf generously permitted to appear as supporting cast 😂

Frozen balloon stacks are still one of my most requested themes, including this personalised number 3 for Marley 🤍

We’ve officially been named as a TOP THREE finalist in not one, but TWO Melton BID Business Awards:

With 3,469 nominations across this year’s awards, this feels completely surreal.

In another busy week, this has reminded me just how much I love Balloon Bar and how unbelievably proud I am of everything we’ve created here.

Thank you to every single person who nominated us, ordered from us, recommended us, visited the studio or simply cheered us on. None of it goes unnoticed.

We made the final three. TWICE! 😭🩷🏆

I’m convinced people don’t actually buy balloons.

They buy the face someone pulls when they see them.

The balloons are just the fun part. 🥂

And just a little reminder… not every balloon needs to be planned weeks in advance.

Our studio is home to a collection of beautifully styled designs, ready for those last-minute birthdays, forgotten anniversaries, spontaneous celebrations… or simply when you fancy making someone’s day.

Because life’s best moments aren’t always in the diary. 🤍

Well… I wasn’t expecting this🥹

Not just one nomination… but SIX.

Balloon Bar has been nominated in 6 Melton BID Business Award categories, and I’m still trying to get my head around it.

Some days you wonder if people even notice the early mornings, late nights and everything that goes into running a little business.

Then something like this happens.

Thank you to everyone who took a couple of minutes out of their day to nominate Balloon Bar. Every nomination, every order and every word of support has helped build this little dream.
