Winstanley House hosted the wedding between Ashley & Carley last Friday. Having been friends with Ash since childhood, this wedding was one which was full of friends and parents I have known for many years. It was lovely to see so many old faces.

With their daughter as flower girl followed by a pony delivering the rings the ceremony really was one that people will be talking about for years. With the perfect addition of competitive crazy gold it was great to see everyone’s fun side come out.

Steph And Will married at the Rosendale pub in Norwood yesterday.

A very relaxed and chill day in Lambeth so the Wedding take place at 1 o’clock with the Bride and Groom surrounded by a select group of family and close friends.

Once the formalities had taken place and Steph And Will were legally married, they headed outside to the garden to be congratulated by everybody in attendance.

Following the Wedding breakfast and two of the four speeches in the East room, everybody was invited back down to the garden where a further 60 or so friends and extended family joined for the afternoon celebrations.

This obviously meant more wine and more food to keep everybody powering through. With bowls of brisket supplied with mashed potato or a vegetarian risotto being the choice before sharing platters were delivered for everybody to tuck in.

As the evening drew closer, and the band were set up. Everybody made their way back upstairs for the Groom speech and Steph’s dad’s incredible speech, before kicking open the dance floor.

Having once again being booked until the end of the party, I really did enjoying and with the hectic dance floor before finishing after their last song.

The best wedding photos rarely happen during the first dance...
Keep swiping.

Most wedding photography ends shortly after the first dance. But that’s often when the celebration is only just beginning.

The ties come off.
The shoes disappear.
Someone starts dancing like nobody’s watching.
Grandparents find the dance floor.
Friends who’ve known each other for years sing every lyric at the top of their lungs.

And somewhere amongst all of that, the moments that nobody planned begin to unfold.

These are the photographs that make people laugh years later.
The ones that instantly transport you back to how the night felt.

So I stay.

Because your wedding isn’t just the ceremony, the speeches or the portraits.
It’s everything that happens once everyone finally relaxes and simply enjoys being together.

And if you make it all the way to the last photo.....you’ll see the moment that quietly tells you the party really is over.

Sometimes the perfect ending isn’t the last dance.

Sometimes it’s the smallest guest, wrapped up in a jacket, asleep on the sofa after giving absolutely everything to the dance floor.

That’s a wedding story worth staying for.

This wedding needs to be seen. From a Chelsea Town Hall ceremony to a secondary ceremony the following week in Ascot followed by a marquee reception in the family home Danielle & Mike really did know how to set the most amazing scene and party to celebrate their wedding.

One definitely for inspiration, with a casual stroll around Chelsea for timeless portraits along with the vibrant and busy dance floor of an atmospheric dance floor. Just perfect.
