🚴🏻♂️CHARITY CYCLE🚴🏻♂️
On Saturday 13th September at 11am, Jack set off for his 24 hour cycle around Melksham.
With the occasional stop to refuel, he completed his challenge! After 24 hours, he completed over 300km in distance🚴🏻♂️
Jack’s niece Ella was born with Edward’s Syndrome, also known as Trisomy 18. This is a chromosomal disorder that affects her growth, global development, mobility and she is also tube fed, alongside various other issues. Although Ella is absolutely smashing life and thriving, unfortunately this is a life limiting condition. A high percent of children with Ella’s condition pass away during pregnancy or if they’re born alive they have a 10% chance of survival to reach 1 years old, Ella turned 5 in July💛
This 24 hour Cycle was raising money for the Children’s Ward at Bath RUH and Julia’s House Hospice.
Ella spends a chunk of her time at the Children’s Ward in Bath RUH. Whilst she is there they spend so much time playing with her and making sure she always has everything needs during her often long stays. Also Julia’s House, who provide care and respite for children and parents at home or at a Julia’s house hospice.
We would like to give back to both organisations for all of the support they’ve given, and continue to give Ella, her family and countless others💛
We would like to thank both Haydn and Sam, who joined Jack on their bikes on both days to keep him going and motivated!🚴🏻♂️
We would also like to say a MASSIVE thank you to anyone who has donated either to the Go Fund Me, or taken part in our raffles.
Without you, we wouldn’t have been able to raise an amazing…
🎉£2626!!!🎉
Each organisation will be given half of the money raised. This is an incredible amount and we are so thankful to each and every one of you💛
If you would still like to donate, the Go Fund Me will be open until September 30th.
