🎄 MVIS Christmas City Spotlight 🎄

The Innovation Hub at MVIS is home to some of the most exciting upcoming products in the industry, a workshop dedicated to developing the future solutions our highways need.

Today, we are showcasing the Belisha Beacon, but not as you know it. This new design is solar powered, portable and requires no mains-fed power, making it perfect for rapid deployment wherever safe crossing points are needed.

When paired with our durable rubber mats, we can create a complete portable zebra crossing, delivered directly to site to help keep roads and pedestrians safe.

🎄 MVIS Christmas City Spotlight 🎄

MVIS is proud to be home to the Highways Innovation Hub, where our Research and Development team works tirelessly alongside the wider MVIS family to identify industry needs and develop the solutions that help meet them. Through market research and direct customer feedback, the team ensures we stay at the forefront of innovation.

One of these developments is the Incursion VMS, a smart solution designed with barrier integration and ANPR technology to help control access on and off worksites. It is built to support safer, more secure environments by ensuring only the right people enter protected areas.

This product is still in testing, but you can get a first look at how it could operate in the future.

With the addition of our new 7.5-tonne transportation trucks, we can now help customers move important vehicles and valuable cargo across the UK with confidence. Our professional, accredited drivers ensure each delivery is carried out safely, securely and to the highest standard.

Yesterday, we introduced the new range of services now available from MVIS, including our safe and efficient battery changing service. Today, we are showcasing another valuable support option for our customers: trailer brake servicing.

Our team can collect your trailer, whether it was supplied by MVIS or purchased elsewhere, and ensure the brakes are in top working condition. Regular servicing is essential, as poorly maintained brakes can lead to dangerous situations on the road, including jackknifing or difficulty stopping at junctions and traffic lights.
